We came for 8 days in summer 2018, and we are coming back for an unplanned very brief stay in April. 2 nights with plans to attend Hollywood Studios on a Tuesday. Ideally I would love to stay YC/BC/BW but they are all $500+ per night at the moment. We stayed part of our last trip at YC and loved it!

I am debating Swan due to location (using boat to get to HS). Or Coronado Springs since it is the only moderate listed in the $250 range (actually cheaper than Swan). But I could see transportation being frustrating. Also considering Holiday Inn in the Springs but also worried about transportation. We will have a rental car but not sure that would help....?

Would love a nice pool for the first day since we will only have park tickets for one day.

Thank you!

I would look into the S&D. I got the Dolphin for $200 a night (taxes and fees included) for our upcoming trip in May on Priceline express deals (Swan would have been about a couple of hundred more). Check out the resort discounts & codes board for tips on how to figure out which hotel is available.

A rental car from Coronado Springs is an excellent option. Not to throw more options at you but if you have a rental car anyway, nothing is closer than Art of Animation; not sure if you're interested in a Value resort. AoA's pool is the best of the value resorts, but is still nothing like those at the other resorts you list. Still, the drive is "turn left out of the parking lot. Immediately turn right into DHS". It's almost certainly a shorter total trip than walk/boat from Yacht Club.

Swan/Dolphin is closer than YC/BC; its usually quicker to walk from S/D or BW than to wait for the boat.

We just stayed at the Gran Destino Tower... Can't recommend that place enough for the money and we typically stay at Deluxe resorts. The Water view is worth the extra $20.00 IOO. Brand new and beautiful, less than 5 minute Uber from HS can't beat it.
