Did y'all know that the pillows on the bed in a 1 BR are all different levels of soft/hard? At least this is true at HHI-DH says it's true everywhere he's gone and he travels ALOT. Last week, my neck hurt increasingly every morning, but like a dummy, I suffered in silence. Then as we were packing to go home, I commented that next time I'd bring my own pillow. One thing led to another, then DH said "Oh, you should have tried a softer pillow-that's why they have several on the bed-they're all different softnesses, you know." Tried them-it's true! Since then, I've been too embarrassed to post this little tidbit-am I the only one who didn't know?

I never knew......I'll have to try them out!

Huh, I didn't know that. I'll have to check it out next time.

230 days and counting . . . again!

Yep, the 4 on the king bed are all different, and the two in the closet are usually not the same either.

That is true in most hotels as well. I usually try one or two until I find one I really like.

Hey, thanks!

Count us among the enlightened! We had no idea!

Never knew! I'll have to check that out next time. We always bring our own pillows though anyway, just can't do without them for a good nights rest!

I did not know that they did this on purpose. One of the joys of DVC and making my own bed is trading pillows with DH(without him knowing:eek: ) if I don't like the one I got the first night!
Dh could sleep on a rock, he doesn't care, I on the other hand like a flatter pillow, so I just swap when I make the bed!!!;) :hyper:

I had no idea about the pillows, thanks for letting us know.

I always travel with a tiny pillow. I bought it in a craft store for just a few dollars. I made a small pillow case for it, in green velour fabric. It's only about 8 x 10. I take it with me on my carry-on on the airplane, and I use it either for my neck, or to cushion my elbow. I use it in the hotel room, as the familiar fabric that my face rests on. Sometimes hotels use such strong cleaners in the sheets, and this way, my face won't be on the regular pillow case.

That's good to know- that way I can try several! Thanks
