1 br/2br lockoff question

any thoughts on this situation (does dvc try to accomodate this)
we wanted a 2br lockoff in June. unfortunately the 2nd night of our week was booked(standard view at BWV).
so i booked a 1br standard view for the first 2 nights and then the 2br standard view for the rest of the week. I also have a wait list for the first 2 nights and hoping at the 7 month mark someone will change and I can stalk the website or get my waitlist through for those first 2 nights (the first night is already still available but I dont' have enough points to just grab it now)
HOWEVER - since it is a lockoff (and not a large number of BW standard view rooms) -- will they try to accomodate us and just "open" the studio for us on that 3rd day and hopefully we won't have to move?
do I call member services at some point to try to arrange this?
has it been successful for others before?

DVC is the reservation agent, it's the resort that assigns the rooms. You may get lucky but I wouldn't count on it, you are assuming that the correct studio will be vacant on the day that you need it.

You could possibly get lucky but I agree you should not count on it for the reason noted above and for the additonal reason that you could be assigned a dedicated 1BR those first couple days.

You should also have MS put a 'Continuing Stay' on the reservations.

I would say you could request it, and you might get lucky and they could accomodate you, but I wouldn't count on it.

I would also make sure that when you check in, you mention it to them as they may be able to change things right there to make it work. But, maybe you will be able to get that two bedroom at 7 months and then you won't have to worry!!!

well the waitlist came through today woohoo! dont' have to worry about it now even -- now lets hope that the standard BWV rooms are finished with the refurb by JUNE
