I just had to write and say "Thank You" to everyone who has posted about Hotwire Savings Club. I joined in October to buy Hopper passes, but after seeing the Chuck E Cheese gift cards, I decided to buy a bunch of those and have DD's birthday party there.

It couldn't have been more fun! They really did a nice job. If you are at all considering a party at Chuck E Cheese, definately buy the gift cards at Hotwire. Also, if you go on a weeknight (we were there last night) you get 28 tokens per child instead of 16 during the weekend. Also, if you book online you get an additional 20 tokens.

I had 14 kids last night and they each got 30 tokens, pizza, cake and drinks. My total bill came to $133, and I ordered $100 in gift cards, so really my total was $113 for the entire party. Can't beat that!!!

My friend had her son's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese last week and since I have a Hotwire membership, I got her 9 $10 gift cards to use for the party. She had 9 kids at the party but they didn't mind if she paid for the minimum party (4 kids at $10 each) and then buy her own tokens and pizza separately. Since she was providing food for adults as well, this came out cheaper since she was able to use coupons to buy the extra pizzas and tokens. Last year I had my son's party at Chuck E Cheese and we spent over $300 and I would have loved to have used the gift cards through Hotwire to be able to save 20%.

Wow awesome deal. Our CEC is 12.95 per kid and the last time we had a party there it cost about $350!! We of course had to buy food for the parents escorting their children, so it really added up.

I like Chuck E. Cheese on weeknights only besides getting the extra token deal it is less crowded. I can't deal with that place on a Saturday afternoon.

Look for KoolAid Bursts and ring pops. Many packages have special "10 Token Free" coupons on them. Also, KoolAid bursts have a coupon for a Large pizza for just 9.99.

Pair some of these up with your Gift Cards and you can save even more!!

We had my son's party last year at 5:00p on a Sunday and my friend's son's party this year was at 1:00p on Halloween. Neither time was Chuck E Cheese very crowded. We were the only party on a Sunday evening so Chuck E. spent alot of time with the kids. We took advantage of the $9.99 Kool Aid Bursts coupons and the 10 free tokens coupons. But they only let you get up to 40 free tokens per party, so I didn't try to get more than that. Has anyone been able to get more than 40 free tokens per visit?

Are there exp dates on the CEC cards? My DD's birthday is not until Sept, but I would love to buy some now before I cancel our membership. Thanks!

I don't have anymore of the gift cards in hand, but I don't re-call seeing an expiration date on them. You can always call Hotwire and see if they know.

I bought 3 lunch boxes on clearance for 99 cents that each had a coupon for 40 free tokens with purchase of large pizza at reg. price. We went and used a coupon for our pizza (we got the $30 deal that comes with 99 tokens) and they let us use all 3 coupons for 120 more free tokens! We only used half of them there so we'll have a cheaper trip next time not having to buy any tokens.
