Can a 1 bedroom at OKW, BLT, or AKV be booked for 5 plus an infant under 3? Or just 5 total?

Thanks.

I think that you can book 5 and a child under 3. I personally think it would be a tight squeeze.

We did the exact same thing. I haven't added all the names yet, but in case everyone does decide to go, we will have 5 adults and a 2 year old sharing a 1 bedroom in kidani. We didn't ask yet if we could do 5 adults and the 2 year old, but figured if they don't allow 6 names on the reservation, we will just put the 5 adults on it instead. The 2 year old doesn't need a key nor do they need a ticket, and she would be sleeping in the master bedroom in a pack n play anyway.

Also consider if you do book the 1 bedroom for all those people, we chose AKV Kidani over the choice of getting BCV because of the extra full bathroom. BLT and AKV Kidani have 2 full bathrooms in their 1 BR units, which really helps when there are that many people staying in the room!

Yes OP, the 1 bedroom at OKW, BLT, and AKV (except value) do all sleep 5, plus an infant under 3. While you'll have plenty of room at OKW, that one bedroom only has 1 bathroom. Less room at BLT and AKV, but they have 2 bathrooms. So you would have to decide, more living space at OKW, or an extra bathroom at BLT/AKV. We have rented BLT 1 bedroom with 4 adults, a 4 yo and 2yo and we were fine, but we travel with this group often and travel well together (my DD and SIL and granddaugthers)

Officially, OKW only sleeps four. But DVC does allow one extra under the age of three. OKW has not been amended to include a sixth person, just like all the other DVC resorts that still officially only sleep four persons.

You would probably have the space, but it might not be allowed. It would be pretty tight in those one bedrooms with six persons.

Actually they have changed the "official" wording for OKW. Go to the DVC website (official) and choose the vacation charts for 2012. It gives you the point chart for 2011/2012 and under the 1 bedroom it now says "all sleep 4, some sleep 5". I guess they worded it this way until the refurbishing is complete and the sleep chair has been added to all 1 bedroom. Just went back and doubled checked the 2 bedroom and the wording for that one is "all sleeps 8, some sleep up to 9".
