1-bedroom capacity (can 5 people go)

We have 3 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7 years old) going on the trip.
I am planning to look for a DVC rental and I am wondering if we can stay in a one-bedroom. We have an air matterss that we can bring but I heard Disney will not allow this kind of arrangement.

Is this true? Did anyone try coming in with an extra person?

The stated occupancy for Studio and 1BR villas is four plus a child under age 3. No extra bedding or linens will be supplied.

Disney is not likely to do a bed check.
