1 bedroom at BLT

Hi all! Our home resort is SSR. Our first DVC trip will be November 2015 Are our odds still good as far as getting a 1 bedroom at BLT at 7 months out? We would try for a Sunday to Saturday.

Lake View, by far, has the most 1BR at BLT, so lake view would be a reasonable chance. (In general 2BR and studios book full before 1BR)

It really depends on "when". Food and Wine festival at the beginning of November is very popular with DVC members, so is Thanksgiving week.

The week before Thanksgiving week (Nov 15-21,2015) is actually a great time to get into difficult categories (might even get a MK or standard view)

If you mean Nov 15-21, 2015, chances are very good to get a 1BR lake view at 7 months out, and a decent chance for theme park view (standard view is difficult any time of year). That time after Veteran's Day and before Thanskgiving week is the moderate demand time during what is otherwise a very high DVC demand month (third highest demand month of the year behind December and October). For other Sunday to Saturday periods, you will have a chance mainly for lake view because you are seeking a 1BR which are the last to fill, but don't be surprised if you have to wait list for one to three nights during any of the other weeks.

Your likely problem nights will be Thursday and Friday and particularly the Friday. That is the usually the last weekend of Food & Wine, it is a popular time for school closings for teacher conferences, and the Food & Wine half marathon is on the Saturday. For this year Friday, November 7, measured by availability at 7 months out, was the second highest DVC demand night of the year behind NYE (even SSR studios, which are usually always open, were booked for that night before 7 months out).

How about OKW or AKV?

If 1BR, very good chance for OKW (other than Hospitality House booking category) and Kidani standard or savanna view (Jambo somewhat less of a chance, and value or concierge will likely be filled for the week)
