I was all set to make a final decision to go with Bonnet Creek 2 bedroom deluxe. I am feeling a little apprehension from DS though, about staying in a separate room from DH and me. We have only stayed in a hotel twice, and it was always in one room.

I am hoping for more space this time though. I am just fine with one separate bedroom (with two queens - not doubles). I would really like a small mini kitchen, or at least a fridge that has a freezer. And I would also really like to have a balcony.

Can anyone recommend a place that meets these requests, and of course also has a great price :) ?

Thank you in advance!

Check Celebration Suites. They just remodeled and I believe they have queen beds in the room. The kitchen is a full kitchen with a regular sized fridges. Off the bedrooms are balconies. I have researched the price and found $65 per night but ran across roomstays.com and got it for $46 per night. its in Old town, nice location too.

Have you priced out a 1 bedroom at WBC? Its a king bed and a fold out sofa. You can see the sofa from the bedroom when the door is open. Just a thought...... Or if you are that apprehensive, someone could sleep in room with your DS.... I actually fell asleep next to my DD last trip 2 nights while husband had the master to himself. :) It is 2 doubles though ind the second bedroom and a king.

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked into those, and they just have 2 doubles in the bedroom. Thank you though :)

Anyone have any other ideas?

Thank you!!

How about Caribe Royale? Here's the Mousesavers link:

I can't tell if the queen 1 bed-room suites (with 2 queen beds in a separate bedroom) have balconies but they very well might since it looks like the 2 bedroom units do. There is a frig., microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer and iron/ironing board.

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually posted a question on a different thread asking if the fridge at Caribe Royale and/or Buena Vista Suites has a freezer. We could get by with a fridge (with freezer) and a microwave, instead of a whole mini-kitchen. There are definitely 2 queens in the bedroom, but there is no balcony and not even a window in the living room. Kind of a drawback, considering the price...

Thanks again for your help! Any other suggestions?

I don't know the age of your child, but it's a real benefit to have a bedroom door for the kids that you can close while you're awake, for example if you want to stay up later or get up earlier than the youngster. You can just open the door when you go to sleep. The units aren't big enough that you couldn't hear any call from him.

I am the only early riser in my family, so it's nice to have the separate bedrooms. I can get up and fix a snack, sit on the balcony and read a book, or whatever without disturbing the sleeping family. Very important to have a well rested family on vacation.

Homewood suites Lake Buena Vista on Marbella Lane. Close to parks and nice suites. Hot breakfast included too. We stayed here last year just for one night but I wouldn't hesitate to stay longer.

That looks so nice - thanks for the suggestion! Does it have balconies? Either way, it for sure has a window in the living area. It looks like it would be great for us!

What is the best way to get a good discount on Homewood Suites? It looks like there are Hilton Points, but we don't travel, so we could not rack up any points. Any special clubs, codes or credit card offers? I have AAA, but that discount is minimal.

Thanks again! And I welcome any more suggestions :)

We stayed at Homewood suites last week( 2 nights before our trip on property of WDW)
Great hotel. Full breakfast each Morning. Cocktails and food at night. My kids had pasta for dinner w/salad. The pool is great. You walk into it. I have a three year old and she ran around the mushroom looking umbrella water thing..My other two also played loved the pool. It has little bubbles coming up in that area. It has a seperate hot tub. Pool open until 10:00 pm.
It also has a half court basketball area.
Check the hilton website. I think you can get 15% off and you should google
COUPON CODES FOR HILTON.
I would diffently stay hear again. Its at the end of marbella court, its out the gates of downtown disney. This area also has many stores(its a walk, but you could do it)
The hotel does back up next to (4) but its quiet. Hotel looks brand new..
