Thats so weird, a friend of ours just ran across a 1-800 number and he called it to make his reservation (1-800-421-3732) and the lady that answered and took his reservation information insisted that it was CRO. I listened to the whole conversation because I was not a believer. I'm still not sure!
There are active 800 numbers out there, and they will stay active until too many people use them and then Disney will deactivate them. I have several old 800 numbers from years ago, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. If your friend is worried as to whether he is really booked through CRO, have him call back, give them his reservation number and ask what the cancallation policy is. ~~
Several years ago I got this number out of a Disney travel book. It still works I used last week to make a correction to my reservation, 1-800-828-0228, they answered with the Cro tape that asked if making new or updating reservations. Worked for me try it.
When my friend called I listened to him ask several times if this was CRO and they insisted it was. That was my thought also was that it was Walt Disney Travel. I told him to wait and see when his confirmation came and if it wasnt what he wanted he could always change it, but I have to admit I didnt even know that there were 1-800 numbers for WDW. Thanks for all your input!
