I was able to delay going into work to get a quick preview of the updates.
First I love the new lands look and sound. It is indeed small but it is not bad. They did a nice job. I need a lot more time to look around and check out the updates. I will also give Gator Waiter a
as he is faster then Gus, Phineous (SP) and Ezra. There is potential for growth and change here. It could be decorated for holidays as well. Club33 I have only seen the picture it is a nice room. The Walt portrait is great. I would like a print of it for my room please. J The Gallery is nice not sure the point but looks like they could change displays. Maybe they need a concierge Auto staff that can answer vmk questions from guests and kids so the dont clog up events asking the same questions over and over. Go to the auto-staff terminal and put in your question and they give the same standard answer staff gives, just a thought. I did not travel to the spell room often so I will not really miss that too much but I am surprised they would remove rooms seems pointless but who knows.
**An item that has not been discussed is the new updated monorail. I have mixed feelings here. I liked the old one; it was brighter but the music never made sense. The new monorail is also not bad. For the music, you are required to mix new songs. The sounds are way cooler. You can only get mixing credit once between the two mix rooms but you get song credit at both locations when you play. Hit for you questers reserve your first song slot for a one noter.
Fire works I am a little disappointed in the score/pay change. I will get a lot less this way. This is their second change to fireworks and the first time I was real good and was knocked back to OK. After working back up to pretty good, I find it is largely unchanged but very cluttered. Most of the new features I have not figured out. I played twice once I came in second and once I just was trying for 500. The fireworks come much faster and are more spread out in the icon order. I tried locking it and seemed to be slower to change. I will give this a chance but the mansion continues to be the better money for me. I need to go home from work and explore all of this, but these are my initial impressions. The host line tonight will be interesting, but we can't play while we are in que so I guess we will sit around and order monty cristo in the blue bayou.
