Just returned from a FANTASTIC cruise. Here's a quick rundown:

Day 1 (Embarkation): First in line to get reservations for spa; DH first in line for ressies at Palo -- hooray! Lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet as we sailed from Port Canaveral, then we wandered the ship getting the feel of things. Sat with a very nice couple at Triton's. Enjoyed the meal immensely. DH had the melon, Bib salad, cod and ice cream sundae. I had the camembert, cauliflower soup, tenderloin and cherries jubilee. A little disappointed that they didn't flambee they cherries at the table though.

Day 2 (Nassau): We chose to stay on board as we'd done Nassau before. Enjoyed Beach Blanket Buffet breakfast, then went to the spa for the Surial Bath. Absolutely loved it! Got a room service lunch, did a little swimming and hot tubbing, then I went back to the spa for Ladies night. What a treat! Hendi at the spa was fantastic. I had a nice long massage, facial, then was treated to champagne and chocolates in the rainforest room. Very nice!
Following ladies night, I ran back to the room to dress for dinner at Palo's. What a great meal. Our waiter, Mario, was the best waiter we've ever had and he made the meal so special (the trip was for our 5th wedding anniversary). We're not drinkers really, but wanted to try a wine and we told Mario we liked Asti Spumante but wanted something that wasn't a bubbly. He brought us Muscato to try -- made with the same grapes as Asti, but as a wine. YUMMY -- we each had a glass! DH had the salad, chicken with shrimp scampi and chocolate souffle. I ordered the warm shrimp salad, filet with red wine reduction and I couldn't decide on dessert, so Mario took care of it for me by bringing his favorites -- Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. The whole meal was amazing.
To top it off, he brought us a plate decorated by the kitchen that said Happy Anniversary on it. He offered to take our picture with it, but the batteries in our camera weren't working. He stepped away for less than a minute and came back with fresh batteries! Needless to say, he got a huge trip (so huge that he sent us a thank you note!).

Day 3 (Castaway Cay): Beach Blanket Buffet breakfast then off to the island as soon as we could get off the boat. We got 45 minutes in the sun before the dark clouds took over and we ran for cover, then decided to walk back to the boat. By lunch time it was sunny again, so we headed out for lunch on the island. Loved the lobster burgers. Played billiards and the giant connect four at the game pavilion. Got a lot of great pictures, then headed to Serenity Bay -- only to find out that the ship was leaving at 2:30 p.m. because more rough weather was expected. Still a great day.
Played bingo and lost, as usual. But found a new favorite drink -- the BBC (Bailey's Banana Colada). It's Bailey's Irish Cream, fresh bananas, pineapple juice and coconut cream -- wow!
Dinner at Parrot Cay -- yummy again! DH had Crab Newburg, fruit salad, chicken and the ice cream sundae. I had wings, onion soup, ribs and the creme brulee cheesecake. Everything was delicious.
Met Stitch after dinner -- the best character interaction we've ever had and probably the best photo from our whole trip.

Day Four (Debarkation): A nice breakfast at Parrot Cay then a quick walk through customs and we were headed home. I loved being able to check my bags for the trip home before leaving the port -- our flight wasn't until 4 p.m., so we took our time and it was a very relaxing way to finish the cruise.

I found the BBC on CC too!

Glad you had a great trip.

Thanks for your trip report! Sounds like you had a great time! We're getting ready to go on the 3 day on 1/29 and I appreciated hearing about your recent experiences! I'm going to keep an eye out for Stitch and get a BBC! :p

The Ladies Night sounds fabulous! I think it's something I'd like to try one of these times.

And I can't believe he found batteries for you!!!! That is just TOO much! :)
