It's $1.78 here in Overland Park, Ks. I saw that Independence had gas for $1.69 though. I could not believe it! I really cannot remember when gas was less than $3.00, let alone less than $2.00!

In St. Louis I saw $1.66. I couldn't believe it. I thought I'd never see those prices again. It was $20 to fill up my Saturn Vue that was on "E" - I mean red light on "E".

Yeah, don't you just love it? I hope they do that investigation they've been talking about and it isn't all just news bites for the politicians. My mom is in Amherst and the station close to her was still at 2.75 on Thursday.
