Loving your pictorial driving directions! I had to actually stop and show my husband those pics through Memphis and parts of Mississippi. His brother lived in New Albany, MS, about 10 years ago. We were hoping we didn't see them in the background.

I've been looking for a pre-trip report under Wigd's name, but here you were all along. Looking forward to reading more of your planning.

I was thinking with a stop in each of those places to see the highlights, you'd never get to Disney World! Are you sure you don't want to drive to Nashville, snag a $94 flight, and be there in less than two hours? I know you'd have to give up skateboarding in Georgia, but it could be worth it.

I lived in Alabama for 10 years and it is a LONG drive to Florida from Birmingham alone. That south part of Alabama is COUNTRY!!!

LOL, I also never saw Pete's famous hot dogs the entire ten years I lived in B'ham.

I am thinking that drive to Nashville and flight to Orlando sounds delish
