Well, this trip report might not be so R-rated, but we did discover on this trip that Lily has a rather, shall we say, unique way of posing for the camera. You'll be able to see in the 1000's of pictures Sam took!!

There is also a great deal of food porn and reviews from our experience with the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan. The restaurants we visited were:
Fulton's Crab House
Kona
50's Prime Time
Ohana
Akershus
Le Cellier
CRT
Narcoosee's
Chef Mickey's
California Grill

I can't wait to see your pics and you picked just about the same restaurants I would have. I would have picked Flying Fish instead of Fulton's. :yay::yay::yay:

I think I missed your send off, but I can't wait to hear all about this trip!!!! :thumbsup2

Sure missed you!! Welcome home, and am super excited to hear all about your adventures!!!

Bring IT ON!!!

I worked and worked the week before the trip on my lesson plans for school. On the one hand, how much work was I really going to get out of them in a 3 day week anyway? On the other, I was truly going to miss 3 days in a row?? This is not my normal M.O., and the control freak in me was going nuts. I organized, collated, copied, stapled, and sticky noted (is that a word? If it's not, then it should be.) those plans to death. Everything was in the order it was supposed to be used with double sticky notes in case one thing dared to be out of place.

I left secret notes for the substitute about who to trust and who not to trust, when "going to be bathroom" was code for "hanging out 'cause I just saw my friend going by the door", and what to do with pukers, yellers, and cussers.

I left secret notes for the trustworthy girls who could actually run the class better than I can (why is it always girls?) about how to run the active board, how to turn on the cable, how to change the assignments, when to tattle on the boys to the substitute, and when to tattle on the substitute to my teammate.

I was ready. I could leave.

I spent all weekend packing and organizing and labeling and stickynoting our suitcases and Monday morning I was ready to pack up the minivan and get out of dodge.

Until I spotted it.

My Math teacher's manual.

On the floor of my living room.

Not on my desk where the substitute could use it.

Well, hell....

.....and so I took my ready-for-vacation, get-out-of-dodge self back to school and gave my stupid Math manual to the substitute. And said goodbye to everyone again. And answered a million questions about why I was there.

And drove back home.

Coming up next: do we actually leave home?

Funny you should say that. Fulton's was probably the place we could have left out, although I have to admit that I fell in love with one thing. It was worth the price of the whole meal!

SOOO can't wait to read along!

I'm not sure I'll be as entertaining as Anita, but I'll try to live up!
