1/2day, full day, 1/2day Trip Report from Aug/07 Part 3

Tuesday August 21: We managed this trip so that DH could actually visit a client while in the area. This meant DD and I had Tuesday morning to do Downtown Disney most of which didn't open until 10am. We were there by 9am. Ugh

So we walked through the Rainforest Cafe gift shop and took a bunch of pic's before DD's 9:40am appointment at Club Libby Lu's! They finally called her at 9:45 after realizing that her name wasn't in the book at the make-up tables. The girl who did her make-up and hair looked utterly bored. Thank goodness DD was so captivated about being dolled up that she didn't notice this. Well, I did and sent an email to express my displeasure in the whole thing! But at least DD loved it and that's all that matters!

Then to Build-a-Bear... we have a few of these stores in Canada and not for nothing, what I paid for at this store ($35) would have cost easily $70 at home! Crazy good prices especially at the current exchange rates!!!

DH texted me that he was heading back to HoJo's to check out so we had about 30min to do World of Disney! LOVE that store!!! It was a lovely Girl's Morning in Downtown Disney!! We were all heading to San Diego for the last leg of our CA vacation but with lots of fond Disneyland memories!!!

I liked the fact that Downtown Disney in CA is close to the parks but the downside is the crowds in the evening. Did you go to DTD any evening? When we were there is was manic, I could hardly move in the World of Disney so going there first thing in the morning is definately the way to go. When we were there on a Saturday night you couldn't even get in the door of Libby Lu's!!

Wasn't it hot!!
