well, i think that i covered everything. im enjoying reading the other dissers reports from my sailing. its cool seeing the same cruise thru someone else's eyes. we loved the dcl so much.....my husband and i were moved to tears a few times.
on the last night at dinner, the servers did the farewell and thankyou presentation, and we couldnt stand the thought of leaving. when we said our final good-byes to sylvester and leasa, i was shocked
to see dh giving them hugs. he was so touched by how hard these people work to make you happy. we were touched by how much you get to know these people and look forward to seeing them at dinner each night. we felt that you really become (call me weird)friends with all who you come in close contact with on the ship-such as servers, kids club counselers, and our room steward(sweetheart
)benny. these people work sooooo hard and are away from their family and friends to serve us.does anyone else feel like this?
anyway, after dinner and seeing our little girl cry that she does not want to say goodbye to slyvester( and shes hugging him) and us both being near tears(are we saps?
)dh tells me"go get my wallet from the safe, please. lets book same time next year. at least we leave knowing we'll be back" we got a cat 6 for 1/29 western and put in a request for the same servers! thanks to all who post on these boards! we would not have known what the heck we were doing with out all of your help and reports!!
