We are staying at the airport hotel Friday night--on other cruise lines they usually assign a specific time to catch the bus to the port. Does Disney also do this or can we just walk on over to the Magical Express buses when we want? We want to get there as early as possible!

hey again!

man it s f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g here. yesterday we rode astroorbiter and I swear I would have worn my ski jacket. the kids are having a blast, but DH and i are a bit discouraged...supposed to be better tomorrow and friday. We were wearing ski hate yesterday and this morning was below feezing.

Oh my goodness! Well, I'd rather be cold at Disney than anywhere else but that's crazy!!! Hopefully warm weather is coming:) (I'm scared to look at the weather report though!)

It is cold here this morning, not complaining much since lines are short, I think we are dragging the cold weather with us. Kids are having a blast, breakfast at chef mickey this morning 7am was great, my 20 month old DD dancing with Minnie. It's suppose to reach 69 today and low 70's tomorrow.o:thumbsup2

You should be taking the Cruise Line bus. Check in with the cruise line people at the airport. Not Magical Express. They'll give you the times.

If you purchased the disney transportation and they reserved your hotel room then when you check in to the hotel they will tell you when to catch the bus.

Well, we are all packed and ready to go. We will be leaving for the airport in the next couple hours. I am glad we are leaving out at night so the little one will sleep (hopefully)! I will see everyone on the ship!

We are flying out tonight! And we can hardly believe it is not snowing in Erie, PA today! Now we can relax knowing the snow shouldn't be a problem!

So, I have to finish up some last minute packing and I must paint my toenails! I didn't have time to get a pedicure like I wanted, but oh well! We have to take the dog to the kennel (poor baby:-( and we'll be just about set!
I guess I didn't realize how much room the FE stuff actually takes up. lol. It will work out fine though!

Can't wait to meet everyone on the cruise tomorrow!!!
Amy :-)
:cheer2:

I can't believe it's supposed to be nice here in Rochester too!! Woo Hoo! We're flying out tonight, and I'm the dumb one and I'm working a 1/2 day today.......ahhhh!!! Oh well, by this time tommorrow I'll be in Florida!! :cool1:

Can't wait to meet everyone too!!

We made it!!!!!
I'm checking in from the Residence Inn in Port Canaveral...just touched down about an hour ago!
I am now officially excited!

Well, just parked in the Nick hotel in Orlando after debarking. What a sad view to see the Magic fade into our rearview mirror. Needless to say, it was a most extraordinary voyage and we had a blast. BeccaGrace's family & mine shared a wait staff...All Hail Liam & Jason!!! A complete report will be posted after a couple of days at Disney World but if everyone's trip was even half as special as ours, then you all had a fabulous trip too. Hope everyone makes it home okay. Off to Downtown Disney....

Darn, back home too...! To the snow and cold and 2 weeks of mail, and a house to clean and food to cook. But what a great trip! As soon as I finish unpacking and get back on schedule, I will continue my trip report! I met quite a few people from here and it was great to meet you all!

We're back too. Great time! Great weather! We booked onboard for next year too (Jan. 16 I believe - eastern). sorry I didn't get to meet anyone. I missed the get togethers.

DS (4) wasn't thrilled with the kids' clubs. He is pretty clingy and didn't want to spend more than 2 hours a day there. Other than that, everything went as planned except the canceled parasailing at Castaway Cay (high winds).

I should edit and add that dd(11) loved the new Ocean Quest kids' club. Great addition and she made a couple of new friends.

We're back home to reality too. The cold of Long Island wasn't too shocking considering the cold at Port Canaveral yesterday! What a fantastic week we had...it was truly a magical vacation. Thanks to all for the FE gifts, my kids absolutely loved seeing that thing stuffed with stuff!!! And we had fun delivering to all the staterooms (again, thanks Cyndi for the list, you're a lifesaver!). It was nice to see familiar faces all week. I took some notes for a trip report...I'd like to start that very soon before I forget the gory details!

All hail Liam & Jason is right!!!!! I missed them and Michelle so much last night when I had to make dinner:) And I wanted to thank you for adding to my happy tears this week...I keep crying every time I tell everyone how you approached me in the stairwell to tell me that you were glad we made it for the cruise--it was one of the highlights of my week. And I had a ton of highlights!!!

What an amazing trip!!!! I only got to meet a few of you since I missed both meets but I cannot thank all of you enough that still included us in the FE...I can't tell you how happy the kids were and how shocked and amazed my in-laws were when I explained what the FE was (they thought DCL was leaving the stuff at first!)

We're back in the hospital tomorrow until Thursday, so my trip report will be up by next weekend, I added a quick update today and I pick up my pictures tonight to do our scrapbook while the memories are still fresh (considering I still have to finish my '05 WDW scrapbook and can't remember much of the details now!).

Hi Everyone,

We are back at home too. It was a nice day when we landed though, sunny and 40 degrees, not what it was in the Caribbean, but not as bad as it can be in Michigan. We had a blast on the ship and the ports. Also want to thank everyone for the FE gifts, my children were so excited to find "goodies" in the FE. It was nice to meet many of you, and I thought it was fun to see so many of you throughout the ship and ports. I hope everyone had a magical time, we sure did.

Also BeccaGrace my thoughts continue to go out to your daughter, you and your family I hope everything goes well for you these next few days.

Just curious I saw that Melrosgirl rebooked, did anyone else? We did, we booked a 4 day Wonder cruise in August (just Hubby and myself) and rebooked the Western next year for January 23 for the family.

Hi everyone!
We had a magical cruise as well! We returned to a very snowy and cold Erie last night. The runway was snow covered and we actually felt the plane slide a little as we touched down. Brrrr!!! It was below 20 degrees when we arrived! Brrr!!! But a week in the sun was heaven for us! We would definitely do another cruise in January!

Thanks everyone for the great F/E gifts! They were great!

We had one problem though:
SOMEONE STOLE OUR FISH EXTENDER!!!!
It was filled with goodies and they also took about 5 of our door magnets. We were so upset. We reported it to guest services and they were very helpful. They took a full description of our fish extender and they got security, stateroom hosts, and guest services manager involved and they got it back for us! How's that for Disney going above and beyond! They said they had a suspicion of who may have stole it, as other things were stolen as well this cruise in other areas of the ship. So, apparently security approached this person and she gave it back. She did not give back whatever was inside the pockets or the magnets though. We were very grateful to get back that fish extender--we were very surprised that we got it back at all.
We later found out by someone else on the DISboards that the person who stole it was a 23 year old woman. Whatever the case may be, we were very impressed that Disney went through all the trouble to get it back for us! Next time, we will definitely zip tie it to the fish!

Well, hope everyone has a great day returning to reality! Blah! We both go back to work tomorrow! And we are NOT looking forward to it at all!

Amy :laundy:

wow, stealing the FE? That's low. I admit I was worried about our non-personalized magnets and thought they would disappear. Glad you got it back!

And blah is right! I am working on my trip report as therapy. We did not rebook and we don't know when our next cruise will be. I am feeling sad our 'first" disney cruise is over because it was so magical for our DD, and I know as she grows older it will be very different (yet less exhausting than hunting down the characters all hours of the day!)

Back to this as well! :laundy: and tks everyone for the goodies!!! we loved them all!

Thank you all for all the fish extender gifts. My boys ran to the door every time we were going back to the room. Many smiles brought on by those that care. Hope everyone had a great time. We tentative re booked for next year and will play it by ear. The first few days were tough but by the end we were all into the routine and had a good comfort level and cried on the last day. Back to brushing off snow and no sand, oh well, at least we had great weather on the cruise. Smile!!

I'm in the middle of getting kids to bed, but wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the fe gifts! What a wonderful group of people! It was always such a nice surprise to see that people had made a stop at deck 1!!! Cyndi, the map was very much used and appreciated! Thanks, again! :goodvibes
