Thanks so much Karin. That is great that you got them put on a CD, and was able to put the on this board. Thanks so much for that. Hopefully Connor got most of his work caught up. I wish I would've been there to help. Maybe I'll tell Mark I need to fly to CA to help you! Think Mark will buy it?? LOL

The weather turned cold here today with highs of 28 degrees and snowflurries. Luckily there isn't any accumulation. The kids are all dragging with their first day back at preschool & going to the gym this morning.

Karin: It was the 1996 Late Disgorged from J Winery, Healdsburg, Sonoma County. This is another of our favorite places to visit up in the wine country. They don't bottle a lot of this, but it is special.

If anyone goes up to the wine county for a wine tasting week(end) please, please, PLEASE think about doing some tastings there. They have a separate room called The Bubble Room where you can taste various flights (red, white, or sparkling) pared with tasty morsels from their executive chef. YUM!!!! I can give you some hints for bubbly tastings in the "other" valley as well.

Thanks Michael! I will have to keep an eye out for it here locally, if available. I would love to get back up north some time, but in the meantime, do you have any suggestions for places in the Santa Ynez Valley? That's MUCH closer and easier when we visit my parents!

Now for the good part... the comment from Marc was that even though he couldn't participate in the events as he had wanted to, it was the best cruise he had ever been on. While he never made it to any of the parks at WDW the bit of OKW that he saw was wonderful. We are not 2 guys that are really outgoing and chatty, but meeting our tablemates was a WONDERFUL experience. We all came from so many different areas and chatting here certainly helped breaking the ice. We will do this cruise again (we're doing the DVC member's cruise in October) and while on board booked a Dec 9, '07 cruise. Anyone wanna join us????

It's good to be back home..... but I'd rather be on the ship.

Heavens Michael! What a story--I'm glad to hear, though, that Marc was actually up and walking. I've had my share of back problems, but not like that!

We had the same experience--I think that linking dining with you all made a fun cruise that much more outstanding. We haven't planned our next vacation yet, but DH did check the "definitely will return" box ( ) on the comment card! So keep reminding us of the dates you will be sailing!!

(Shhh, Julie, don't tell Mark, but Connor did get his homework done--this morning, 30 minutes before leaving for school.) YES! By all means hop on a plane--I need your help!! It's even warmer here during the day without snow flurries or even rain. But not as warm as Florida or the Bahamas. My kids did okay at school today--it's ME who's dragging. I think I'm still on east coast time. I can't keep my eyes open past 8pm.

That is to funny. My brother moved to Nashville many years back to pursue a music career and after just a short time, he was talking liked he'd always lived there!

Now that he has moved back recently he again talks like us Iowan's. Don't know if that's good or not.......

Anybody else having a superbowl party? I was nominated by my sis & Bro to host our annual event this year. We really are not for either team that made it.........we just like the socializing, drinks, and food.

See there is always a party going on at our house! LOL if we don't have a reason, we make one up!!!!!

Anyway, now I have to think of what I will be making for snacks/food. I am thinking mexican like nacho supreme & margaritas, but Mark has requestesd BBQ smokies. Not really with the theme, but oh well!

UW has a sign posted right outside the visitors locker room that says "Welcome to 7200'. How's your oxygen?"

Love that sign! As far as I'm concerned could have posted the same sign at MGM's parking lot the day I ran the marathon....

Glad to hear the two of you made it back home safely, and I hope Marc is doing better with his back pain. Marisel had a similar problem the last couple of weeks of our vacation, so she's seeing a doctor when she comes back to Panama.

Your last remark (I'd rather be on the ship) I believe is true for most of us on table 46-47...
