Hi guys! We have just arrived safe and sound back home. Now the kids are in the bath as they have school at 8:30 tomorrow. We had a great time. Now to do up the laundry so we can repack for Florida! Woo Hoo! I love vacations!
Could you please tell me how to get the pictures in your message. I have tried but not been successful yet! I hope everyone had a great New Years!

I remember watching the tv while onboard and seeing people on the sports deck. Seemed in the mornings it was open to anyone. Activities seemed to be later in the day. That's just my impression from watching the live cam. Don't know for sure.

Hey! I'm glad you guys made it back safely! We got back yesterday, so now I have to run off to get food in the house!

I think the easiest way to post a pic is to get a free account at photobucket.com. Then follow their directions to upload a picture to their site. Once your pic is hosted there, they give you different options on how you want to use your pic. I just copy the image url and paste it here; then I preview the post to see how big it is. I've had to resize a few time and then upload it again to photobucket. Photobucket isn't the only hosting site, but it's been easy for me. Basically, you'll have

Lucky! I'm expecting ours any day now that we are just about 2 weeks away! We did get the kids' passports, however!

Here we are!!! DD(17) in the middle will not be going. She has missed to much school to she will be staying with Grandma for the week. Otherwise Joe is on my back and Leah is on DH back.
I have been trying to think of something unique for us to wear to the terminal so we will stand out, but nothing has came to mind yet. We all have matching grey U S Skeleton hooded sweatshirts with Zuber "America cup 2004, 2005" on the back, but that would only work if it was cool that day. I will keep thinking! I know, I know that is dangerous!

I am really getting excited now! I think we are all arriving at port about the same time so we can all be stressed about kids, luggage, ect. at the same time!

I hate having my kids run uncontrollably and having them out of control

so I will probably be the gouchy Mom until we are on the ship!
I just don't want them breaking anything or bothering anyone! One time in an airport DH wasn't making DS mind and he was running and out of control. Needless to say, he tripped an elderly gentleman. I felt horrible. Of course the guy was hurrying and not watching where he was going either.

Don't forget, that no matter how out of control you may think your kids are, there are always other kids who are far, far worse! Your kids are so cute, how could they not be angels??!

No they are not bad just very full of energy. It must be because they are only 11 mo. apart. They are like twins!!!!! Actually when we went to New York they were so well behaved I would've thought they were someone else's kids! They just have to much energy to be inside in the winter! This will be great for them.....me too! I really like kids, I guess that is why when Leah goes to kindergarten, I am planning on finishing my final year on my teaching degree.

I wonder where your documents are. Michael is in California too and he got his the same day as mine! Maybe they want to keep you on the edge of your seat!

I do hope it is warm enough to swim at castaway cay.

I hope your week is going good. I think I am finally catching up all of the laundry and the Christmas decorations are down, boxed and in the garage (not put up though). Do you have your's all caught up from your trip?

Our docs finally arrived last night! We heard a knock on the door and I went to answer it and saw nothing--like ding dong ditch. Then I said, somewhat sarcastically, "Hello??" Then from across the street, I heard, "Hi!" It was the poor UPS guy still on his route. I looked down and there was the envelope!

Some of the Christmas stuff is taken down. I still have clothes in the suitcases, which I have to empty so I can start packing for the cruise. I actually got to the gym this morning--two weeks to go sure has me motivated!!

Hey, I have my teaching degree too! I just haven't taught in MANY years, and it's expired (so I'd have to do some coursework to renew it). But someday maybe I'll get back to it....or not! What I wish I could do now is get a masters in speech therapy, but that program is way too intense with such young kids.

I will mark those July dates on my calendar and make sure that we're in town!

I'm trying to convince my husband to book a new years cruise on DCL--anyone else??! DH said that we need to take the first one first. BUT, I can still get quotes before we leave to see if it's worth rebooking onboard!

We were in San Diego over Christmas, stayed down in the Gaslamp about a block from Petco Park, gorgeous hotel called Solamar. Marc's father lives over in South Park so we had a couple of nice days down there.

A former teacher here as well.... well, technically I guess I'm a former student teacher. I received my degree in music education, K -12, and after I completed my student teaching I did realize that the classroom really wasn't for me. To all those who are teachers, I salute you all!

A New Year's cruise sounds great! I priced an April 2007 DCL cruise through Costco and was amazed at the difference in cost when compared to the agency I used for this cruise. The only thing that would stop me from going with DCL is that as a former Princess Cruises employee I can still find a few deals out there on Princess. We are doing the DVC members cruise in October so I know we have at least one more Disney cruise coming!

The boxes with costumes are being packed and heading out to UPS next Monday. YEE HAW!!!

Hi all! I haven't posted for a while but we are still sailing with you all! Although we don't have a docs yet. The rest of the family received theirs. I don't get it, we are closest to the port and always the last to get our docs.


I got the boys 2 pillowcases for signatures, our personalized Disney T-shirts arrived last week and I'm going to work on the door signs this weekend. I'll try to post a picture when I'm done. I'm trying to make this special since it will be their first cruise and we are old pros.
If any of you have any helpful tips for kids club/activities please share. This will be our first cruise with kids so I know nothing about that part. They are 7 & 8.

How wonderful you all are teachers. The main reason our cousins are taking this cruise is to celebrate his graduating with a Masters in Educations! He would like to become principle of the middle school he is teaching at in SC. Here is the graduation door sign I made for him.
