But if were to ever leave, we wouldn't be able to afford to move back, and I'd miss the nachos and the few margaritas I get nowadays. And of course, I'd miss my family, which is really what keeps up here.

I know I haven't been on much lately. We needed some deep housecleaning instead of just the basic.....I hate cleaning ovens and scrubbing floors
My DD is getting so excited about the cruise. She even told Chuck E Cheese tonight. She told her little friends at preschool. Her and another girl AJ always chat about cruises. Now she tells me she wants to go tell Willie Wonka that she is going on a cruise........

As a matter of fact, the kids and I are cooking our Thanksgiving meal today. Brian won't be making it up to my parents' for T-giving this year, so we're having a smaller-scale family dinner today. The turkey is at the moment defrosting in a cold-water bath. It didn't quite defrost all the way. It's only the second turkey I've ever cooked! We'll be leaving Wednesday for my parents' house and won't be coming back until Sunday. I probably won't be checking in much until then.

And also a great mini trip over the weekend. I have volunteered to cook here so my Mom doesn't have to. It will be with quite a few extended family members (about 50) and my Mom's health isn't that great. I thought it was the least I could do to help out so I really do need to get my house ready!

They gave us a different room yesterday after me complaining for 2 days...first solution was to spray some industrial cleaner that set off my asthma......now we're aft and my brother is forward, but we can all enjoy our rooms now!!!
