Wow,
That sounds like the weather here too. It is still so windy everything is blowing around. You have to tie your hair back in a ponytail so you can see where you are walking when going to the car. Well hand onto something so you don't blow away! ;)

Kelli,
It was really windy here but no tornados. Ames is about 90 min. from here. I was at a baby shower and new it was windy and rainy but was shocked when we got home at DD (17) told me about the tornados. Unbelievable for this time of year. It has been sooooo warm. Even in the 60's-70's last week....... Now snow is forecast Tuesday but it will not stick since the ground is still so warm.

Karin,
Hope your allergies are better today!

Amanda,
I'm shocked your so quiet. Just kidding :rotfl: What's up.

We're headed for another Santa Ana condition--warm winds--which also ups the fire chances and my allergies. So 81 here today, however, it was freezing in the morning, and I actually turned on the heater for a few minutes to warm the house up. (I know, my thin blood....! :cold: ) We can easily get a 30-40 degree difference in low to high at this time. I actually love this fall weather. This is a great time of year to visit Kelli!

Julie, I thought about you and the tornadoes yesterday too, but I saw that you got on the computer last night! Tornadoes scare me!

Hi Amanda, wherever you are! :wave2:

Kelli,
Are you scheduled to get any of the snow they are forecasting for the upper midwest? :confused3 It looks as though it will go north of us, but we will still have snow, just not any accumulation.

Hi everyone!

I think I'll skip the martini tasting--I just can't do hard alcohol anymore (unless it's in a margarita). I'd love a little wine tasting, however!

If there's a wine tasting, Marc and I will be there! If there's a martini tasting, marc and i will be there! f thrs a margrta tstng, yup wheel make dat 2!!!!

And nobody better even THINK of calling me swishy!!!!!

Karin, I definetly want to hear how you like your Cat 3. I called this past weekend to check out pricing on a Cat 3 for a 2007 trip (April 22, 2007, anyone???) and it is VERY tempting!!
I was simply amazed at the price Costco gave compared to other agencies. The only bad thing about booking it is that if something does go wrong and we had to cancel it, the deposit is completely nonrefundable.

We will be keeping our eyes peeled this whole trip to see if a trip on the Wonder will once again be on our planning board!!!

You know, when I wrote that sentence last night (in the midst of an incredibly horrible allergy attack, mind you), I thought twice about how I had worded it!! But alas, I wasn't thinking clearly enough to come up with another wording!! And yes, you're right...without the kids it would've worked just great!

See my previous post......:guilty:

Actually I was laughing too! I am all for having a great time. Usually it is me that is the social, outgoing, joking type. Glad to see I am not alone! :rotfl:

Oh no......we were back on P.2. Bringing us back up front.

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Kelli,
I got our dining switched to late. My TA said she could also link people together if you didn't have time, but I didn't have anyones ressie numbers.

Also......it is snowing like crazy here. Winter weather advisory for tonight with 2-5" snow/ice expected. :guilty:

Thanks for saving us from page 2!!! :goodvibes We're fixing dinner, waiting to see if the interstate is going to stay open long enough for us to get to the Bball games today....we already missed the early session. Wyoming is playing @6pm, so we're hoping to get dinner, then head over. The website says the road is open right now, but who knows in an hour!

The roads were awful yesterday, and we had to take the back road, since the interstate was closed then too. too much wind and dry snow, so its made the roads VERY icy. I'm really dreading going the back road again today, so if they close the interstate again in the next couple hours, we're just gonna stay home.

If you wanna see how crappy the roads are:

The road we'll be taking is the cameras from

The summit east of Laramie to East Port of Entry - Cheyenne

So sad....roads are to bad to go out.
Just be safe! Our roads are supposed to get pretty icy tonight as we had so much rain, water is standing on the roads and it is now 32 degrees and dropping. They have upped our snow totals from 1 " to 2-5". We'll have to see!

And THAT is why I left the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Never again do I ever want to shovel snow. Never again, nope, uh-uh, no siree bub. I liked my 82 degrees today!!!!

Just keep saying: There's no place like the Wonder in January. There's no place like the Wonder in January. (now, you may have to click your heels inside your rubber boots, but THAT could be a cute dance!!!)

Michael

I'm bumping us up!

Kelli, I just looked at the highway cameras, and just saw an amazing sunset! Looks like the weather turned better for you today!

Julie, hope it's better for you too!

Michael, perfect November weather, huh?! You must be packing! Bon voyage! Looking forward to hearing all about it! What ports do you visit? What's the cruise line?

I've been sick the past couple of days (along with DS), thanks to DD, the little germ carrier. DS and I have spent some nice together time napping and hanging out together, however.

Talk to you all soon!

The weather is FANTASTIC!!! The ports are Acapulco, Ixtapa/Zihuatenjo, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas.

We're sailing on the Nowegian Star. I'm a former Princess Cruises (temp) employee and we sailed on Princess this past summer up in Alaska with my folks which was a wonderful experience. NCL has a "freestyle cruising" atmosphere and I'm really looking forward to just doing absolutely NOTHING!!!!!! (well, I might have to have a margarita or 2!!!!)

Wishing everyone well and looking forward to catching up with y'all when we return the Friday after Thanksgiving! :Pinkbounc  :bounce:
