Signups for the Fish Extender exchange are underway!! We have a cut off date for sign-ups of December 1st - please log into the spreadsheet and indicate YES or NO in the proper column! Anyone who hasn't specified yes by that date, will be considered a "no"
January 15th will be the date I send out the stateroom and name list to all participants, so please make sure everything is correct (names, ages, stateroom numbers)

Hello! We were actually supposed to be cruising right now But then both of my kids got sick and there was trouble with DH's work....soooo the good news is that we are now cruising with you!!! Woo hoo. I just sent a request to the facebook group. I have not yet had a chance to read through the entire thread so I have some catching up to do.

We definitely want to participate in FE! Cheerio I'll send you a PM.


A quick intro. I'm Cassandra a stay at home mom. My DH is Justin and he is a first year med resident. (Hence the work issues with this week.) We have two kids. Carrington will be 2 weeks shy of 3 on the cruise and Bromley will have just turned 1.

Lets meet at the Promenade Lounge on Embankment day 3pm on Deck 3, Aft.
That will be before the muster drill but should give everyone time to eat, settle in & explore.

We can always set up other times during the cruise to meet up again.

So finally the excursion we really wanted is available! The Seven Mile Beach Break in Grand Cayman. BUT the only time is 7:15 am! I'm not sure we would want to go swimming & hang out at the beach that early. We really wanted to do a DCL excursion because of the tender. Ugh, don't know what to do now.

I posted on the main board in regard to your conundrum in GC.
I am not sure what your worry about the tender is? Are you thinking to get there early? Just know that the tenders run all day and are very easy to get on and off. I think 7:15 is way too early to get to the beach, especially in Jan when it could be cooler (well, cool for there, not for us from the frozen north).

If you have any questions ask me or pm, I have been to GC five times (on DCL and others), I might be able to help.

Figured it would be easier to get to a tender & get back on the ship doing a DCL excursion. Read too many horror threads on people not making it back to the ship.

7:15 to meet up for the excursion isn't too early for us. Just want to make sure we have enough time on the beach. We would go in the morning anyway. No clue where & what area of the beach to go to on our own.

We just booked. Kind of a last minute vacation decision. This will be our second Disney Cruise and we are looking forward to visiting Key West again (where we got married). On our last cruise I remember our dinner mates talking about the FE exchange, I was interested in signing up for if for this cruise. Can someone point me in the right direction.

I was bummed to see there were limited Palo reservations, but I was able to get one. I guess that is what we get for waiting so long to book. Yay! I am hoping there will be some cancellations at the spa on the at sea days so I can sneak in a massage

A big hello from BRAZIL !!!!

This is going to be our 3rd cruise (been to Wonder 4 night cruise and Wonder Panama Canal for 15 days).

Joining me will be my husband, son (20) and my parents (daddy 77 and mom 75). After our cruise we are staying for 12 days at WDW (Fort Wilderness cabins). My parents have never been to a cruise before and it is going to be their first visit to WDW as well!

We are counting down the days to our vacation!!! Look forward to meeting you there!!!

for a minute, when I saw your first post, I had this hope of finding a 7ish brazilian girl on the ship, since my DD(7) is getting anxious for not speaking enough english, but I don´t think it´s the case

My mum, though, will be happy to find brazilians on her age range to socialize It´s her first cruise, as well and she says she would never go in one. Grandmas do whatever for their grandchildren.

Do I recognize your name from viajandoparaorlando? I don´t post there very often, but I read a lot. Sometime ago I posted on the DCL thread looking for brazilians on this cruise, but got no luck.

You are right, unfortunately my 'little boy' is actually 20 y.o.

This is our 3rd Disney cruise and I have only met a few Brazilians so I am glad to hear you will be there - hope our mums get along well!!!!!

I know the website you refer to, but I have never posted there, I joined DISBoards last year and it is one of the best Disney sources available on the Internet!

Have you been to DCL before? are you joining the FE exchange?

I´ve checked the other forum - they do have a Pagano who posted there, but different first name.

It will be my first cruise, DCL or otherwise. It´ll be me, my husband, DD(7), DS(5) and my parents. Yes, we´re doing FE (not the grandparents, it´s too much new information for them - I don´t want to scare them off ).

We´ll stay at WDW for a week before the cruise - first time for husband and kids.
