1/2 price gift certificates

Does anyone know if alcoholic beverages are excluded from the Pat O'Briens GC's? We were planning to go just for drinks (to watch the dueling pianos) and I'm sure we could rack up $50!!

We used are gc with no problems!Hard Rock Cafe was the ony non alcohol gc that i have The rest let me purchace beer with it!

Were you able to ask for seperate bills? I really don't see why you couldn't - as long as you asked right away. My daughter is a waitress and said as long as you ask right away - they don't mind doing that.

I'm only going to City Walk one day - so I'm hoping this will work out.

My Motown GC doesn't say anything about excluding alcohol so I am hoping we can buy drinks with it too! I have hesitated buying one for Pat O'Briens until I hear whether or not it is good for drinks. If anyone finds out, I hope they will post!

We bought the Pat O'Briens GCs and plan on using them at the end of this month. We will surely try to use them for a few beers, and will let you know how it goes!

On the link that I provided at the top of the page there are more certificates available for other restaurants. You have to click on the Universal City Walk Orlando section where it says Click here to find more certificates. Something odd about the page today is that is does not show the restaurant that will be available next Friday. In the past, it always showed a preview of next week's sales. I wonder if that means anything?

The Hard Rock cert. that they still have left, are they the same as the ones which are sold out? Thanks for any insight. Are they for lunch only or how do you find out the "fine" print?

Just had to add a thank you for starting this thread!
Since my family has been to most of the restaurants at City Walk, this April we were looking forward to trying Motown.
I purchased the $50.00 certificate and received my e-mail confirmation stating the certificate should arrive in 5-7 days.

So, now because of these boards, you've made it easier for me to save money on my hotel room (RPR), Universal tickets and now a meal at City Walk. MANY THANKS!!

Geez, 3 1/2 weeks before I leave. I suppose that I need to get organized--too many other things going on, though. I try to do a few things every day so I won't have that last minute vacation panic.

I did receive 2 $25 GCs to Hardrock as you guys said. mine expire 07/31/04 and on the back they say not good for merchandise and can only use one per visit. not one per check so anyone planning to split the checks in the same family, you may get a fight so be prepared. the 2 work out for us since we will be going twice and with 1 adult and 2 small kids, that is all we will spend anyway on our meal. i have bought so much under deals from the info on these boards. everytime i buy something i get more excited about the trip. my only problem is that i never keep track of things so know i have to go find all of the confirmations, tickets, and such and put with my GCs. Thanks again for the info!

I did notice the "one per visit" on the Hard Rock GC. Hopefully someone will go soon and post of they could use two at the same table. Otherwise, my teenagers will have to sit by themselves. They are hoping!!

Just checked the individual radio stations as an earlier poster mentioned. Seems they each have a separate supply of Pat O'Briens etc so if one is sold out, check another. Also starting Fri at 9 they have an AMF bowling family fun pack. 2 hours bowling, popcorn, pop, pizza, shoes for the usual $25 instead of $50 retail.

Checked the original 1/2 price site and is still listing MoTown. Supposed to update near noon Orlando on Mondays.
