I'm planning a 1/2 day MK morning during Jersey Week, and here's what I have so far:

-8:05 ADR Crystal Palance
-At rope drop, grab FP for Philharmagic
-Peter Pan
-POC
-Jungle Cruise
-Hall of Presidents
-Haunted Mansion
-grab FP for Buzz
-see Philharmagic
-grab another FP for Buzz
-ride Buzz with first FP
-go to lunch between 11 and 1130
-"filler" rides until Buzz FP time if needed
-Indy
-TTA
-Carousel of Progress
-Buzz
-Railroad if time (I'd like to leave by 1)

So does this look do-able? Or am I being overly idealistic (ie: crazy)? :rotfl: :rolleyes1 Lunch can be moved around if need be.

We're coming back for another 1/2 day MK morning later on in the week to do more Tomorrowland, Toontown, and maybe some Fantasyland.

Thanks for any input!
Christine

I really hate to be a downer, but I don't think it is possible to get all that done before 11:30. You might want to scale it back a bit. Maybe I'm wrong, but I know I couldn't do all that, even if I were alone!

I wouldn't try to do the things in adventure land. Try sticking just in Tomorrowland, fantansyland, and toontown, having toontown be last. you should be able to do everything with relative ease.

I'd have to agree. That looks like a lot to fit in. But if the crowds are really low it may be possible. :confused3

It's hard for me to say, just because I'm used to doing a different route in the a.m., and because some of your choices have long(er) rides (jungle cruise, poc.) My only piece of wisdom is that Philharmagic fastpass machines might not be operating first thing in the morning (they have never been while I was there.) I will also say that before 11:30 lunch I have ridden:

Dumbo
Winnie the Pooh
Peter Pan
Buzz
Space Mountain (while kids on Carrousel and Small World)
Toontown opening with tour of house by Minnie or Mickey
and before 1 p.m we would fit in HM, POC and Magic Carpets.

If the crowds are light in the a.m. (I see you're going Jersey week, but if you're going the day after an MK EMH you should be ok,) you'll be shocked at how many attractions you can ride, I know I ALWAYS am! :thumbsup2

forget about the fp at philharmagic. you will get into the show whenever you want.

Firstly, thanks for all the responses.

I thought I might be pushing it :teeth: But I also thought that with avoiding all of Fantasyland (except Peter Pan) and all of Toontown (my son is 10, Mickey just doesn't really do it for him), as well as the thrill rides, we might be ok.

The important rides for this day are Peter Pan, POC, Haunted Mansion and Buzz, with runner's up of Jungle Cruise and Hall of Presidents.

So maybe if I modify to :

Peter Pan
Haunted Mansion
POC
Jungle Cruise
Hall of Presidents
FP for Buzz
Eat (I'm guessing this will be around 11 or 1130)
ride Buzz
get another FP for Buzz depending on return time
If we get another FP, take a ride on the Railroad and maybe the TTA until the return time.

Does that look better? I'd like to get a bit done, but I don't want to be militant about it either. We're going to be back later in the week (morning @ rope drop) and that will be an 'as much Buzz as possible or until Mom has had it' morning. We'll probably do Philharmagic then. And we'll be there one evening where there are two Spectro parades...we're going to watch the second and I figure we can do some rides (maybe save Jungle Cruise for this since I've heard it's better at night) with less crowds during the first parade.

Now that I'm thinking about it...we're eating at CP at 805...I betcha we're not going to even want to look at food at 11am. So we could just do the above and not worry about eating lunch at the park.

Too much to think about...my brain is starting to hurt!!

I have read that Jersey week is crowded, so I don't think you'll be able to accomplish all you want. Good luck with the planning, though.

I think the problem I see in the plan might be the spacing between the rides...You will do a lot of walking and back tracking if you are not careful. If you have to keep Adventureland in, here is the order I would suggest

At rope drop...go to Buzz. Before you ride, get a FastPass for later.
Ride Buzz (you might be able to sneak in two rides if the line has not built up yet.) If the line is inside the building, I'd wait to ride again. It moves fast.
Peter Pan
Philharmagic
Haunted House
Hall of Presidents
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
Return for Buzz and use FastPass (if you didn't get to ride twice in the morning)
Ride the RR on your way out of the park.

Take a good look at your map before you go and find any shortcut you can, especially between Buzz and PeterPan and between the Hall of Presidents and AdventureLand (POC/JC). I think you can do it if you don't dilly dally.

I would encourage you to get a FP for Peter Pan. That line seems to take FOREVER! And since it's important to you, then FP is the way to go!

I'd also say that Jungle Cruise is another place that the FP has made a big difference to my family. It's fairly slow loading, so being able to walk right on works well.

So with your list, here would be my approach.

Get a FP for Peter Pan, then go on Philharmagic. Hit Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents and Peter Pan (in whatever order works with your FPs for PP). Pull a FP for Jungle Cruise, then wait for Pirates, followed by Jungle Cruise with a FP. Send a "runner" to Buzz for FPs while the rest of the family rides the railroad around to Toon Town then takes the back path over to Tomorrow Land. You may have some time before the Buzz FP is good, so you could hit the TTA, COP or Stitch while the Buzz FP becomes ripe. But I agree that Buzz' line can move quickly so you may be able to just go standby on it.

I've suggested getting your Fantasy Land stuff out of the way first on purpose. IMO, that area is very hard to be in after about 10:30 since there are SOOO many strollers there. I understand why, and even contributed to it when my kids were little. But now that they are older, I try to be out of there before 10, and my legs thank me for it.

Have a great time!
