1/2 day at Animal Kingdom

With all of the wonderful comments and advice I have decided to do this:

I am going to go to Epcot on day we have Priority SEating and do AK on a full day, probably the last day - Friday.

We have a 8:50 PS at Cyndy's Table on the day we were thinking of AK for 1/2 day. But since there is so much to see and the advice of the shows, safari ride, and parade, forget it - my kids love the zoo and I don't want to disappoint.

Being that they are 4 and 5, Epcot is more educational and maybe a full day there won't be as fun and enlightening as a full day at AK. Then again, after a full day at AK, we could always go back to Epcot to see what we may miss on a 1/2 day.

Thanks again to everyone for their advice and input. Extrememly helpful.

I think your plan is perfect.
At age 4/5 there's lots at Epcot they'll enjoy--but it would fit well after Cindy's. Be sure to schedule time for the interactive playground in Figment, the leaping water fountains (put their suits on under their clothes), and see Cranium Command in the Pavilion of Life.

A stroller is the key to a happy Epcot experience with ones that young.

I agree--a full day at AK is a must, at least for a first visit. We went to AK for the first time in Dec. with DS9 and DD6...and they list Rafiki's Planet watch area as one of their favorite things of the whole trip! They liked brushing the goats, of all things! Anyway, I'm so glad we took some extra time to do things like this. We still didn't see everything in AK...darn, guess we have to go back soon...:D :D

Hello jrzgrl!!!!

For the sake of not being redundant, I agree with everyone else who posted here. However, they did not provide you with the solution...............you have to go back next year to see more!!!!!!! ;)

One thing I wanted to mention was the Dinosaur dig and playground. We have been to AK 3 times (all 1/2 days). We didn't go the dig and playground until last trip because that's when my girls were old enough to ride Dinosaur. They loved it and said it is a must for this upcoming trip. ANd they are 7 and 10!! I didn't think they would want to play there.

The dig area is nice because it's all shaded. My DH stood on a bridge looking down at them and could watch them the whole time. I, being the mom was playing with them. It was a nice break.
