Due to time my daughter and I were planning to do just 1/2 day at each of those parks. Any suggestions of "must do" at each park for adults? (We will not have the grandbabies with us, my other daughter will be taking them on a different days because they are staying a few more days than me). Thanking you guys in advance!!!!

With so little time, I would choose my 3 or 4 must do's at each park and not worry about what you are missing. Good luck and have fun!

It'll be hard to ride the big three at HS unless you get there for rope drop, but if you do go straight to TSM and ride it... you may not want to leave once you do!

The problem would be hitting the shows at the parks which are only offered limited times. Which every you choose to do first hit rope drop to hit the most important first.

Depending on what you like? Roller Coasters or shows? I love the Great Movie Ride, The Muppet Show, Backlot Tour (which is closed right now) But if you like roller coaster you must do Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. I loved the Toy Story Mania but all three are major rides. I would go straight to TSM at rope drop then FP TTT and wait for RRC. Then you will probably have time to do a few more small things like the GMR and Muppets ( not long line at all)
Ak : the safari is a must do, Mt Everest and the lion king festival. Don't leave the park without walking though or around the tree of life up close, fantastic. I would FP Safari (closer to gate) and go straight to MT. Everest and wait. (if you like roller coasters. Other wise just ride safari and go to the lion king and walk thru some of the animal trails. Anyway you do it you will have a GREAT time.

Animal Kingdom
Thrill: Everest or Safari (really amazing!)
Show: Lion King or Finding Nemo--it's really good!

Disney Hollywood Studios
Thrill: Rockin' Roller Coaster or TSM
Show: Stunt show or Beauty and the Beast

Good Luck--try and get to either one early. Have a plan! Utilize Fast Passes!!

THANKS!!!!!!! Guys, You guys are great! No mattter what question I ask there are members to help you out!

I would recommend hitting DHS first at rope drop and hit your major rides that others have mentioned, then hop over to AK later in the afternoon as it might start to clear out since it is the "early closer." Just check the EMH situation and try to avoid.

I would check the park schedule to see what time each park closes before planning your day. I see someone mentioned heading to AK later in the day but sometimes they are not open very late.

MOST times AK closes early so this is a good point...also when is your trip? If it's like June July Aug I would go to AK 1st..all the open space can get very hot & uncomfortable later and then if you wanted to do Kilimanjaro Safari you may not really see the animals....think of the way your pet dog or cat reacts to the heat goes off under the farthest shadiest tree ...if this isn't important to you I would still go to AK 1st & head for what is a priority

We're doing this in May. We're doing AK at rope drop, then heading to DHS around 1pm. We're OK with this because we will have the instant Fastpasses from the Give A Day promotion, so we know we'll still be able to do the rides we want without waiting forever. We've been several times before, so we know what we want to hit for highlights :thumbsup2

Sounds like a perfect plan then :surfweb: Have a great time !
