In a word - WOW!
We had a great trip from start to finish. Day by day, here we go....
1/18 Sunday - Plane arrived at MCO about 20 min late, Southern Elegance Limo was waiting at the bottom of the stairs as promised. Miguel, the owner, is a great guy and we really enjoyed chatting with him. After retrieving our luggage, he took us through a back entrance near luggage - our stretch limo and one other limo was all that was back there - it was really cool! Limo was spotless and he had a HUGE Minnie Mouse in the back waiting for us. Also played Shrek the Movie during our ride to the resort - very nice and worth every dime!
Arrived at the YC around noon - a CM greeted us immediately, and then another approached my DD by name and asked her who she brought with her. It was a really nice touch. He escorted us to the checkin desk where there was no wait at all. The very nice CM there chose a beautiful room for us and it was ready - it was a distance from the lobby, but WOW - what a view:
We checked the room top to bottom and it was spotless. So, we left our luggage and off we went to Epcot. It was busier than we expected, but not packed by any means. We had decided on the plane ride that since we had been up since 4 am we would take it a bit easy our first day and we were only doing WS. When we got over there though, DD wanted to ride TT, so we got FPs with a return time of 6:30 - 7:30 pm. As we walked into Innoventions, we were asked to try the new Kim Possible Adventure - so we reported over to Norway at 2:30 pm. That was really fun - we were mostly in China and had a great time with this. We wandered around a bit and then we were getting hungry (about 4:30 pm).
We had ADR's at Tutto Italia for 5:45 pm - I approached the desk and asked if there was any chance we could move our ADR up - no problem - she said, how about now! Perfect! Meal was excellent as we knew it would be.
After finishing up dinner, we walked on to the Mexico ride and the Norway ride and then over to TT to use our FP. We were pretty beat after this, so we walked back to the YC. A bonfire was going and they had just started a movie, but we were just too beat to hang out!
1/19 Monday - We woke up pretty early and went down to the Ale & Compass for a quick bite to eat and coffee. We walked over to Epcot around 9:30 am and got FPs for Soarin which already had a 30 minute wait. We walked on to TT with a 5 minute wait and then to Mission Space with no wait. By the time we finished there, our FP was ready, so we rode Soarin.
