Final thoughts, the filming of According to Jim, did not really interfere with our cruise. I shared an elevator with Kimberly Williams Paisley, and she was quite nice. Courtney sightings were rarer unless she was filming. We later found out she had many scenes to film, and less free time than the rest of the cast. JIm and Larry (the guy that plays Andy) were around alot. Larry was really nice, Jim we were told by one of the grips, only liked taking pictures when he was in a posing mood. The two girls that played the daughters were nice too.
I loved room 7580. It did have a laundry smell when you walked down the hallway, but not when the door was shut. We met a cute family from Wisconsin that were staying on deck 8, and were right under the ping pong tables! They complained and could not be moved since the ship was full. He told me he would take laundry smell anyday over the constant pingpong noise.
Speaking of laundry, as I did loads and loads when we returned, I could still smell the chlorine and salt water in the clothes. A pleasant reminder. One of my best memories is leaving the verandah door open and hearing the waves in the afternoon, while hearing my kids nap. It just doesn't get better than that.
