1/17/09 Magic anyone???

Anyone know our dining rotation?

TIA
Cindy

You generally won't know your dining rotation until you get your Key to the World card. It will be listed on there. Anyone ever request a particular dining rotation? Also, I have hard that if you have young kids your rotation is usually something like Parrot Cay, Lumeire's and then Animator's. That's what I had when I went last time with my then 5 year olds and the wife. I wonder if I will get the same thing.

I sent Disney an email a few weeks ago and asked if you could ask for a particular dinning rotation because our family wanted to start with Animators Palate. They told me no, that was not an option and we would only find out our rotation once we got our Key to the World cards.

I called Disney Cruise Line directly and requested my dining rotation a few weeks ago and the person took my request and said that they can't guarantee you'll get the one you want but they do make a note of your request.

We requested PLAPLAP rotation when we called concierge. That way we're in Parrot Cay for Pirate's night and Lumieres for formal night (unless they change the rotation around).
We've always requested a rotation and have never not gotten what we wanted. Also if you aren't happy with your rotation or your table the first night you can request a change. Most changes are approved.

We also request a particular rotation every time we sail. We're always gotten what we've asked for, though it is not guarenteed. We requested PLAPLAP this time.

What's the phone number for the conceirge if I may ask?

I don't have it with me, I think my husband has it somewhere. If you search the boards I know it's been posted. If you got the brown "suitcase" packet and you're in concierge it was with that.

Hey, I called Disney Cruise Line and asked if we could request a certain dining rotation and he said, certainly. He never said anything about it not being guaranteed just that he put in my request. So, let's hope it works. We're getting closer !! Can't wait !!! :woohoo:

Well, we are a large party and since online you can't book more than 4 people at a table, we have to book seperate ressies for 6pm and 7pm, and we still have to book one more for the final couple. Of course, they are the only ones who are not Castaway Club, so we had to wait. We're hoping they can work some magic and get us all together.

Which also means you'll probably be well into your meal (or even finished) by the time my DW and I get there. Leave some dessert, please!

Hope the seating works out for you!

I haven't received a mailing yet. Is there one due? :confused3

Hey Tim, I don't have the concierge # but I called (800) 951-3532 to speak to someone yesterday about requesting a particular dining rotation. I found the number on the Disney cruise website. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. I called the DCL number which comes in the packet and they gave me the Concierge #. I have not called them yet but I will.

Funny, but when I was filling out the cruise contract I did not recieve my passport # yet. I filled everything out and now I can't get back into it. I was able to enter my passport # but was unable to print another contract. Now I can't get back in at all. That is why I called the DCL # yesterday just to double check that our passport #'s were there and in their system. Well, mine was, didn't think it went through but my wife's weren't, it did print out on the contract. Very strange. But at least now everything has been double checked. The rep said it doesn't about the contract because as long as they have the #'s everything is fine beforehand.

Looks like a lot of people request the PLAPLAP rotation. That's the one I was told to request. Well, I got my 75 day mark wrong and logged on the day after, but still got Palo dinner on the day AND time I wanted :thumbsup2 ! I was also able to log out and log back in under my friends reservation and reserve it for her too!!!:cheer2: I can't believe how close we are to sailing :goodvibes .

Ha ha ha...I thought I was the only one that played those videos prior to the Disney vacation. I have the Disney travel shows from the Travel Channel recorded onthe DVR and we play those quite often. It really keeps the momentum going.

LOL!!! We do the same thing with the Travel Channel ones!! Usually on Saturday mornings the boys wake up and want to watch them!

We made our own pirate costumes for the Panama Canal cruise in 2005. My Mom is making ones for herself, my son and my brother. Yes people do get that into it!

We bought the boys some nice Captain Jack Sparrow wig/hats and will be bringing a few other things as well! It should be fun!

What are people doing for their kids and family for christmas for the cruise? We're doing some dress up things and a journal for the boys so they can document their time in pictures and words. Anyone else? I'm trying to think of of a few things!
