Oh people, you must beware of Mark. He is an interlopper who is constantly trying to create rifts and drive wedges between people. He has been pestering JEG for inclusion into their group, and when banned for his nasty profiling of the Sisterhood, he began to make accusations that there were substance abuse problems within the group. This accusation was made after most women on the cruise declined to be assigned the 'privledge' of doing his laundry. BEWARE!!!!

I was very surprised to note how "low-profile" you're keeping over here. Is it your Jekyll and Hyde personality or are you saving all your best material for us? Trust me, folks - you DON'T want to know about the toenails!

Is anyone else as confused as me as to who this sisterhood is and why they are taking over our thread?? Are they crusing with us?? Is Mark real? What happended to our thread?? Sorry, I just keep getting email notifications that there are new reponses on our cruise meets and it keeps being all this sisterhood stuff. I've tried to follow what they are saying but I am lost! Please explain.....

Hi again Kelli- There is another cruise thread on this site and the woman have formed a 'cult' calling themselves the sisterhood. It seems that their main purpose in life is to hijack unsuspecting threads and post ridiculous responses to unasked questions. I am also cruising on that cruise and since they've located my other cruise thread they thought it funny to chime in over here. From what I've gathered over there, their main concerns are getting drunk and berating the men. I suggest we do as their husbands do and just ignore them and hope they go away...Mark

Hi Kelli,

Sending apologies to you for the confusion Mark has caused all here from the Ship of Fools Sisterhood (CA to FL DCL – August 20, 2005). Mark is also on our cruise, and he is full of pranks on our thread, so we decided to “pay him back!” We’ll behave now, LOL! Below is "one" of Mark's many pictures on our thread…let’s just say we are a lively bunch who are having a lot of fun as we prepare for our cruise. Come and join us, we welcome everyone! Have a wonderful cruise!!!

The "Sisterhood" had a meet last week at a local rest stop. Getting there wasn't a problem, but parking... let's just say a picture's worth a thousand words!!

I'm confused too Kelli- even with the "explanations". I just wish we could have our thread back and live in peace. Up until 2 days ago, Mark was just a nice guy. Now the sisterhood is "Sending apologies for the confusion Mark has caused all here..." I've never been confused by Mark- I don't really think he's the problem- do you?

I am so sorry that these people have hijacked your thread.

Let me go on the record to say that Mark never has, and never will, be engaged in unseemly behavior (behaviour?) of any kind. Mark is a regular 'salt-of-the-earth' kind of guy, and apparently his low-key style and general amiability has upset some of the female element in our cruise. Now I find that they have traced him here to annoy you as well - this is most unfortunate.

Mark has gone out of his way to be sociable. He has routinely offered generous assistance ranging from wine selection to hints on personal grooming and pedicure. He has even taken the lead in organizing the onboard DISmeet for us. Yet despite that, these mean-spirited women (apparently now engaged in some type of gang-related activity) continue to harass him.

Please accept my apologies for any problems that the women from our group have caused here. From all of the men on the 8/20/05 repositioning cruise, may I extend our best wishes and hopes for a safe and happy cruise next month.

HA!!!!!

Jazzman is really Mark's Psychatrist and he is covering himself because he really want to take a break from this crazy patient. It is very much like the movie, "What about Bob??" and Jazzman does NOT want this multiple personality Mark interfere with Jazzman's vacation as well. He wants to be far from him as possible for the week.

Just wanted to clear this up folks!! But have no fear, Mark will behave as long as Jazzman gave an enough prescription for the week. Mark is gentle as a lamb, otherwise, watch out, he can roar like a lion!!! and oh, just stay way clear from him if he happen to have a stun gun with him!! He zapped himself once and almost did it to his poor cat too!!!! I am nice enough not to get into details of what happened to Poor Mark, (actually poor Sandra, that is,) after he got himself zapped. Not a pretty picture...



By the way, I am known as the Fearless Leader of the Sisterhood! Karebear1, you are more than welcome to join us!!!!

kellimomo3: I completely agree perhaps we should all start posting how we are doing and ideas of how to get us through until this cruise. I will start by saying my DH and I went shopping since he is off for the rest of the month and into January. I headed to a Walmart store looking for the card holders you know the ones we need and they said they don't sell them!! I have two Canadian ones here at home but I need two more. Any other ideas of where to get them?? I also was looking for a water proof money holder and didn't have any luck with that either? Does anyone know if I can purchase both of these items on board or not? I really don't want to hunt around any longer since the stores are so crowded anymore.

How is everyone doing on their shopping for Christmas if you celebrate that is? I am finally done and if I have to go and buy anything other then groceries I am going to scream!!! I found the stores so over crowded today and my DH really doesn't like shopping the same as I don't really like it either but it had to be done!!

Just an update...I haven't started packing our our skidooing trip or our cruise ! I also would like all of you to start sending Meshee some fairy dust since she is starting to worry about flying ...sorry Meshee I figured you could use all the good thought and prayers to keep you calm.

I found card holders on ebay that had dsiney cruise charaters on them- you could try that- just earch for dinsey cruise and thigns will come up.

Meshee- you'll be ok. Don't worry about it. WE'll be sending PD your way!

Houzer, I know what you mean. We rebooked this cruise while onboard last year. I surprised my inlaws and offered them a free cruise. My FIL is now going to join us on this cruise, but my MIL would not fly, under any circumstances. We offered to send her by Amtrack, now she says she won't sail!! Whatever! At least my FIL will get a vacation...Mark

mark & sandra:I am glad your FIL is at least going with you. Have you offered to drug your MIL that is what I have told Meshee I am doing to her LOL! I know since 9/11 people are a little more nervous about flying. We'll be all together so that makes it a bit better for me if I was traveling without my kids I don't like that as much I know it sounds strange but that is just me.

Houzer, yes I offered to drug her. I knew she wouldn't go when I offered her alternative means to get there, and she refused. My wife even suggested going on a different cruise that leaves out of New York, and she still wouldn't go...Mark
