...of meeting a doppelganger with 8 facial genes or less... with 7 folks looking like you...yes numbers and research all over the place ... so the question is... does Ron Howard look like the buffalo Bills coach ? What is the greater chance...look alike or hitting the goal post on a kick?

When I was a bus driver, I was returning to our downtown terminal from a run . As I turned the corner on that street I noticed a bus, not one of ours, parked on the opposite side of the street with the driver sitting behind the wheel. As I got closer I noticed that the driver looked familiar. Then it dawned on my that he looked exactly like me. I thought I was seeing things but when I got off the bus at the terminal three other drivers said that they saw the guy and wondered what I was doing on that out of state bus. My next run was short and it was my last one for the day so I hoped he would still be there when I got back so I could go and introduce myself to him, but by the time I got back, he and the bus had departed. And a possible interesting event was unavoidably missed.

I had a similar experience. Back when we were doing virtual faculty meetings for school, I did a double take. My mind was trying to register why “I” looked like I was in a different classroom. Then I realized I was looking at a district faculty member who looked just like me! It was such a weird feeling! I still have no idea what her name is. We have a huge district faculty. I hope she’s doing her job well and “we’re” recognized only for the good things we’re doing!

I’ve seen mine...across the arena at a sporting event. It was startling! Me and everyone I was with tried to find her at intermission to get a closer look but couldn’t do so in the crowd.

Omg, I was really wondering if I was the only one who had a twin out there. I’ve seen her (for many many years), friends and strangers have seen her. There’s a long story, but for years I was terrified of knowing her her. I’m finally ready to learn who this twin is, so I even took a DNA test.

Anywho, Last year my maternal aunt (that I lived with for many many years) called me to ask if I was in Disney. She just watched a YouTube video and thought she saw me leaving Ohana at the Poly.

Strangely enough I had been in Disney two weeks prior, but it wasn’t me. But..the day I returned from the airport I went to the market. The cashier comments “you must really like this store since you’re back again”. He went on to explain “I” had gone through his register line yesterday, except I was in Disney. I actually pulled my boarding pass out to show him I had just returned that morning.

My brother... I see him EVERYwhere, except it's never him. I bet I've seen a dozen guys in random, different places where i think "John? Here?" He must have very common features and build for guys in his general age group.

Never of myself. One coworker I had told him he looked so familiar to someone else but I couldn't pinpoint. Days after I figured it was the teen idol I had pictures of growing up that he's the doppelganger of. I never told him but i was glad I figured it out as it was driving me nuts.

In elementary school I think it was the ice rink I was told of mine. In high school one of my teacher's kept calling me the wrong name so I figured it must be the doppelganger or just the other girl in my year that didn't talk a lot either.
