I use a cane, and have asthma, so I had to stop a few times, but it wasn't a bad hill and there was interesting vegetation to look at. You could also take a taxi since you have a family group. Some young girls I met there who were staying in Nassau said the snack bar had some of the most reasonably priced food in town.
We just got back off the 7 day Eastern - used the shoe holder, would have used clothes pins if i'da had them, and didn't take or need a power strip.
I also used ziplock bags to put ice in the 'cooler' with a hand towel on the bottom to catch any drips and in case I needed an ice pack for foot cramps.
Was glad I had a popup hamper from the dollar store for dirty clothes, too.
Wish I had had a molded cardboard cup holder from dunkin donuts or something to put cups in to carry from drink station. (I only have one free hand because of the cane)
