1/10/09- EARLY Roll Call! Who's coming?

Hi everyone,
Sounds like there will be quite a few 3 or nearly 3 year olds onboard. Hope the CM's take their vitamins that week! Tatiana, you are so sweet to take your parents on a trip. I hope to take my mom cruising one day. We are still trying to decide on excursions, at least I love the planning!

Thanks! Did you do the all day (7 hour) tour? Can I ask how much strenuous walking was involved and if it would be possible to stop and rest if needed or if it follows a path that doesn't allow for any extra pausing? I will be traveling with my mom who has asthma and while I'm sure she'd be up to it, I'd like to know whether there is the chance to stop if needed.

We did the all day tour. I took about an hour or so to get there in the bus. There was also about a half hour on a boat. The most strenuous walk was to the bus. The guide set a fast pace. Once at the ruins, it was a very sedate pace. There was about 1-1.5 hours of on your own, this depended on the guide.

Also it was 4 years ago, so some of the time marks might be off.

Hey guys! One more week until I vacation in Missouri and then 3 months until our Carnival Glory cruise and THEN 3 months until DISNEY MAGIC! Yippee! I can hardly wait!

Well add me to the list. I booked this cruise while on the westbound PC cruise. I book this cruise because it's just to long of a wait for the one DH booked(Dec'09)so once again his runaway wife is out of here. At least this time he knows well ahead of time that i'm leaving but that's another story.
Is anyone going to WDW before the cruise? I've got most of my trip booked just need hotel for 2 of the nights at WDW,ticket and transportation. Now i just have to be patient and wait.

Hi ...yes, we are staying in Disney Wed thru Sat before the cruise...I just made my advance dinner reservations today...... then we are going back sat, sun and monday after the cruise(no school monday) so took advantage!!!!

OMG it looks like i'm going to get a mini Disney fix before our cruise. DH can't go but he said if i wanted to and kept cost very low he would send me back for one last fling at Adventurers Club. So everything fell in place and i'm going Sept 1-4. Well now i have to eat my words as i said i'd never go to Disney in the heat of summer. I'm so excited.

I just checked and we are in port with lots of ships in Grand Cayman and Cozumel.....I hope the excursions don't fill up before I make up my mind!

I JUST BOOKED!!!!!! YAY!!!!
So excited! Will be myself (single mom) and daughter 12 yrs. It is her Xmas pressie and she has NO idea! It is our dream vacation! I got a cat 11 on deck 5 which is exactly what I wanted! WOOHOO!

I just saw this post. I haven't been around for awhile Our DD is 13. How old will your DD be when we sail?

She will be 12.5 yrs, which is perfect! They will be in the 11-13 together!
