Thanks!!! Artist Point is SO good. I really can't say enough about the Portobello Soup. It was the best soup I have ever had & I normally won't touch a mushroom with a 10 foot pole.

It’s funny- we actually changed clothes in the car! It was easy for me- pants on under the dress & a sweatshirt on over it…since it was strapless, I could just dress over it & take it off. The monorail was PACKED & all of the people exited at MK. It was about 7pm & I couldn’t believe the crowd going into the park for that time of night & for January!! It was also looking like rain.
Once we were in the park, we walked up Main Street, then crossed over by the Plaza to get to Tomorrowland.

We got to Space Mountain to find that the wait was over an hour. We then decided to go to the TTA. I took some photos that did NOT come out well, but I am sharing them, anyways!

After the TTA, we walked through Fantasyland towards Big Thunder Mountain.

I HAD TO stop at Haunted Mansion- it always has been & always will be one of my favorites.

We walked over to BTMRR & decided to wait in line. It was only about a 10 minute wait. We were going to go right back on, but noticed the line stopped because it started raining. When we walked by Splash Mountain, we saw that there was no water in the ride whatsoever! It was weird seeing it “dry”.

We walked to POTC & rode that without a wait. It was absolutely POURING when we came out of there & we decided to go over to Raglan Road- my brother’s favorite place. Some last minute photos of the castle:

We went over to Raglan Road & watched the band for a bit. We headed back to the room after midnight in the rain.

I could have sworn that I posted a reply yesterday but don't see it. I know I read the installments though. Oh well, what can I say? The Disboards have been acting weird lately.

The roses are absolutely beautiful. I love how they put two colors into one vase. Glad to see that John realizes what a great woman he has in you.

Your Artisit Point food looks delish! We've never eaten there but I may just have to rethink that after looking at your pictures.

Funny story about changing in the car. Totally sounds like something we would do.

There were quite a few people in the Magic Kingdom weren't there. I don't blame you one bit for not waiting an hour to ride Space Mountain. It was closed during our last trip and we're anxious to ride it again. Won't be waiting an hour though.

Cool pictures of the "dry" Space Mountain. I had seen pictures of the moat around Cinderella's Castle after they drained it but hadn't seen any of Space Mountain.

Your pix of WL make me want to change my ressie and stay there, they are great. The coffees look yummy, I love Bailey's .

My pix of TTA never turn out either from some reason. I will take my new camera in May and see how it works on TTA. I want to ride BTM at night, everyone says it is awesome.

Our server mentioned that the most popular appetizer was the “Smokey Portobello Soup with Roasted Shiitakes and Chive Oil” and I made the split second decision that I had to try it.

We walked over to Dinoland to check out the wait for Primeval Whirl. The wait was too long for us, so we continued over to Dinosaur.

We had a late night the night before, but we were still up earlier than usual. We did not have a breakfast planned this morning. I had originally had a lunch planned at 50’s Prime Time, but when I called to see if I could change the reservation from a party of one to a party of 3, they could not accommodate us. We switched to Mama Melrose’s. We walked over to TSM to get fastpasses first.

After getting our fastpasses for TSM, we decided to walk towards Star Tours to see what the wait was.

Some of the Osborne Lights were still up.

Thanks!! I absolutely LOVE the TSM queue- there is so much to look at inside & outside of the building. I waited about an hour to ride before & I really didn't get bored! That barrel of monkeys monkey with the rocket is one of my favorites...he's just so silly!

***Just a warning...I went wacko with picture taking because I knew this was my last park day. Sorry if the photos get repetitive!

Now- I don’t know if you guys usually wait for Star Tours, but we don’t. When we got over there the wait was 50 minutes!!!!! We decided to skip it. At this point, I was annoyed and baffled by the amount of people in the parks that weekend. What happened to my quiet January days in Disney!?!? We moved on to check the Great Movie Ride (the line was out the door) & then my stepmom decided she needed hard candy for her sore throat and we went to the candy store half of the Villains store.

We walked back by Star Tours just to check the wait time again-it was 51 minutes!!!

We got to Mama Melrose’s & got seated fairly quickly. I ordered my favorite “Disney drink”- a Captain’s Mai Tai, my stepmom ordered a Sprite & my brother got a beer.

For an appetizer, I got the mozzarella & tomatoes with balsamic drizzle:

And my stepmom got the bruschetta:

Thank goodness we ordered appetizers!! We all ordered flatbread as our entrée & there was a malfunction with the oven & it took FOREVER before we got our food. They were nice enough to give us a pass good for one ride of our choice using the fastpass line. When our flatbread finally got to us, it was very good.
I got the vine-ripened tomato with basil pesto:

We decided to get FP’s for ToT before going to RnRC. My stepmom & brother decided to go on RnRC using the “free pass” we got from Mama Melrose’s. I skipped it this time because I hit my head really hard last time on the side of the seat. It just is a much rougher ride than it used to be & could use a good rehab. While I waited, I took a gazillion photos. This is where you will all get bored because I have a million photos of the same things.

I had been waiting for a while now, so I decided to have a seat by the ride exit. I saw this teeny lizard next to me, so I took a photo. I was reviewing the photo & noticed something next to the lizard, kind of in the bushes. I couldn’t figure out what it was on the camera screen, so I looked to where I took the photo & it was a big pile of barf. Yep…I immediately got up & found another seat. I cropped out the barf & viola! A lizard:

There were members of a tour group (or soccer group) waiting at the exit for other members to come out. They were chanting & kept filming every member’s reaction as they exited the ride. I was SO ready to get away from them. It’s great that they are having fun, but the chanting really annoys me. My stepmom & brother came out of the exit & it was already time for our ToT FP!!
