1,000+ photos- Update-Pg. 12-my TR is over!

I'm here, I'm here. I love your pictures. The walk over to Epcot looks amazing. I can't wait to read more :surfweb:.

The walk to Epcot looks so pretty. How long did it take you to make it over to International gateway?

Oops, meant to say that your spider picture turned out so good.

What great pics you took! Definite photographer's eye :thumbsup2 The pic of the bug web was very interesting and I loved the view from your room - I would love to stay at Yacht Club some day - I can't seem to give up BWV and renting points makes it so much more affordable than any Pin offer but maybe someday - you definitely have convinced me to save my pennies!

First off - your dog is gorgeous! Seriously, beautiful dog.

Ok, your view rocks. What a great room. I love all the pics and my son thinks the spider pic is very cool. I can't wait to read more - subbing!

Joining in! I love your pictures, the BC/YC area looks so pretty.

Welcome & thanks!

The pictures of the grounds are just beautiful. I love the shot with the flowers on the ground.

Thanks! The grounds were amzing- I realy loved all of the flowers around.

ok, I was loving your pictures until I got to the BUG! AAAA! It is a pretty bug but I would've freaked!

Love the shots of YC/BC!

:rotfl: The spider was far enough away that most people wouldn't notice him. No more bug photos- I PROMISE! :)

What a great view!!!

Thanks! I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Hey, Dana!!! The walk over was awesome. I loved it.

The walk over from YC was about 5 minutes- maybe even less. It is VERY convenient. Thanks about the spider photo! I had an expert tell me it is a crablike spiny orbweaver & not harmful in any way. It made me a little sad to hear it was most likely a female at the end of her lifecycle.

Thanks!! I LOVED Boardwalk, too- I stayed there once before & it is just as convenient. I loved the view OF Boardwalk from YC, though, too.

Thanks about Isis! I have seriously never had such a nice room or view. I LOVED it!

There was never a wait to get into Epcot through the International Gateway. Now, as much as I talked about wanting to shop on this trip, I didn’t browse the shops too much. I was more focused on taking photos. I did NOT want to let my Dis friends down!! I walked up the hill & took a right over the bridge…

Next up- Morocco! Day 1, Part 5.

Thanks! for letting us walk along with you...how beautiful was the day! :sunny:
:wave2:

Thank YOU all for reading along! It was just a gorgeous day! I left from cloudy weather with temperatures in the teens, so I was in heaven! :cloud9:

I LOVE to take pictures in Morocco. It is such a pretty pavilion. This time, I went nuts- I took a TON of photos there. I had a little case of camera envy when I saw a couple who BOTH had digital SLR cameras. Someday I will get mine.

This shirt just cracked me up for some reason. Anyone know if Habibi is a character or what Habibi means?
IMG_2282.jpg

IMG_2283.jpg

Tradition…on the way out of Morocco, I always get one of these slushies. I got the Habibi Daiquiri this time. Sorry about the blurry photo!

Next, I walked through Japan. Actually, first I sat down in the sun to soak up some of the warmth & I finished my Habibi Daiquiri, then took some more photos.

Your pictures are so beautiful I don't think a DSLR camera could do better. I looked up the word Habibi and this is what I found

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Habibi (حَبيبي) is an Arabic word that literally means my beloved (of a male; the female form is habibti or Habibati), from the adjective habib (beloved). It is commonly also used for friend, darling and similar endearments.

We have never really explored that area of Epcot, but your pictures are so beautiful, we will this time :thumbsup2.

More great pics! We didn't make it to Epcot last time (kids were too young) and I can't wait to go to Morocco now that I've seen your photos. I agree with racefan - I don't think a SLR could do better.

Love the trip report so far! You've taken tons of great pictures and I love all the details! That slushie looks so good too! Can't wait to see more.

Thanks, Dana! You are so awesome to look up that word for me! I bet your SLR pics will be unbelievable! I'm still trying to work in a weekend in May. I would LOVE to be able to see you guys!

Thanks! You will LOVE Epcot! The shops are SO much fun & Soarin is the best ride.

Thanks! I definitely have a lot more photos. I'm going to bore you guys with about 700 more!! :rotfl:

I never knew there was a nice photo exhibit in the back area of Japan. I had to check it out. After I took the next 2 photos, I saw the “No photos, please” sign. I NEVER take photos when I’m not supposed to, so I felt bad.

I wandered through the Mitsukoshi Department store. I wish I had bought more on this trip, but the problem was that I wanted everything I saw & couldn’t decide what to buy!!! I really wanted some of the Miso soup packets & some of the tableware. I’ve always wanted a bonsai tree, but I’m so afraid to kill one. They also had the really cool, teeny dioramas to represent each month, but they didn’t have October (my birth month). I spent some time looking at the clocks, too. I stopped & thought to myself- “I haven’t eaten since 5am, so I should have lunch”. The U.S. was next. On the way to the U.S., I bought an Epcot towel with a ton of characters on it. I will have to post photos of my purchases at some point.

I went into Liberty Inn and it was pretty deserted.

IMG_2302.jpg

I was hoping they still had their veggie burger- they did! I got that with fries & a water. I loaded the burger with pickles & onions & sat down to eat.
IMG_2303.jpg

I was so hungry that I ate in about 10 minutes….good thing, too, because one of the huge tour groups came in soon after & just took over the entire room. They were very loud. That was ok with me, though, because I moved on to Italy!
