hey folks,
can it really be him?! i think i saw him in the mirror this morning...
i wanted to say thanks to all the folks (including my sister) who dropped me a line to make sure everything was ok and that i wasn't disappearing. good news: everything is great. i had just been really busy with family, work, and most importantly (to the photography board) putting together a photographic exhibition which is currently on in Sydney.

'Traces' is an exhibition of work from 3 australian photographers, including my good friend who lives in London. the work is on display at TAP Gallery in Sydney, which is a non-profit, run-by-artist gallery. it's quite a large gallery and it worked wonderfully well for my first exhibition.
there were about 250 or so people at the opening and there was media coverage.
so now i am more or less free... except that i will be fairly busy doing some work in China, spending more time with my kids, and preparing for my second exhibition. what???? yes... as luck would have it, i was invited to participate in an exhibition as the gallery owner had seen my work. this one involves 10 photographers from around australia and is on at Blender Gallery.
so plan on seeing me. not quite as often as before, for awhile, but i'm definitely around. i still have photos from my November disney trip that i haven't put up. i look forward to getting back in the swing of things around here.
so thanks again and it's good to be back,
dave
