You are too too funny. I was just telling Lynette that they should have a DIS-aholics anonymous. You are a prime candidate. I am there with you girl. Unfortunately......Guy is NOT an Enabler. Obviously Joe is. Two sick people in the same household. Poor, Poor, Poor Anabelle.

The Highlight of my day today, Was opening my box from Disney. Woohoo.......I'm officially a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge and I have the Mickey Grad Cap, Certificate and Pin to prove it. LOL.

Guy informed me the other day, that he would take me back on a Disney Cruise in 8 Years when he is set to retire. (boy is he blind or what) The kids just kept eye-balling me across the table.

Well, gotta get.

Tiiiigergirl- I feel your pain with the crowds of the olympics. It is affecting us here. DH is working every day off at the firestation at the Boise Airport searching every PRIVATE jet and passenger heading to SLC. They are all directed to Boise first for security checks. He has to work 26 days straight with no days off.

I am goof-ily STOKED about the Winter Olympics! I boo-hoo-ed when all the great athletes handed the flame to each other, and then when the hockey team lit the flame.....WWWWHHHAAAAAA!!

It was cool!

Have ya'll followed the story of the Shea family. 3 generations of Olympic athletes. All three were going to be at these games till Grandpa got hit and killed by a drunk driver 17 days ago. Too sad.

Tiggergirl - I'll be looking for you as I glue my butt to the couch for the games!!!!

I told mutt that He could wear my graduation cap when he graduates from Highschool. He of course had to try it on.

Planning a trip to Seattle. Have a couple of classes that I need to take there. Guy and I thought we would dump mutt on the NFH and Julia with her friend and take a quick trip overnight. It looks like there are some awesome things to do, so I may have to stay for 2 nights.

Still waiting to book with DCL. I've heard they just made the fall rates cheaper, but I'm not seeing that. Actually the rates are about $1000 more than we paid last year. I'd have to have something FANTASTIC to talk DH into it. Or I could save myself lots of money and leave him home......teehee!

I sure do miss you guys. Business is going good. I've booked a few more and have found some awesome travel deals out there. I sure wish that I lived on the other side of the world. Most of the great deals seem to be from the East Coast areas.

Karen--I did respond when you wrote about your Disney Store closing, but that was when there were some missing days. Let me know if you got it.

I'd love to join you on the cruise in September. We're actually going very soon (2/23), so I don't know if I'll be able to swing another one, but it's worth a try.

It'll be interesting to meet a new group--I'm hoping they'll be as nice as our old 9/28/01 bunch.

Hi gang! So nice to see some old friends! The count is 230 days!

We leave for HIlton Head (Disney's resort of course) this Friday! I can't wait!

The Olympics are great. We have been watching evry night. I LOVED when the hockey players lit the flame. I do prefer to see it on TV....it looks awfully COLD there!
I went to the Games in Atlanta and was at the park the day the bomb went off. Fortuntally I had left a few hours earlier.

Karen, it would be so nice if you could do the 9/28 cruise! I'll keep my fingers crossed. Have a wonderful time on the 2/23 trip!

Papa...glad DD is doing better!

I don't know......maybe he needs Drugs.....OR better yet Another cruise.

I just keep hoping that I'll make enough at my part time job to pay for the cruise. Then he can't complain. Guy, Mutt and Jeff all have enough frequent flyer miles on Delta for a free ticket, give or take a few points, so my ticket is the only one I'll have to purchase.
I'm almost positive we'll be joining the rest of you.

Unfortunately I am not blessed with great brains. I kept hearing how expensive the games were and did not check into any of the prices for myself until you guessed it, they were sold out of the cheap seats and well the expensive ones were very VERY expensive. We live less than a mile from the speed skating oval. You know the one where all the records are being broken. In fact it is right next door to our health club and I think after the Olympics are over our membership includes skating there.

Congrats on your graduation. I know how fun that is. Warren has to work security for the games as well and he is coming home tired also.

Howdy everyone! I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day! And I have grown so close to all of you that I wish we were spending Valentine's Day together aboard the ship.

Of course, maybe that isn't saying too much since I wish we were spending President's Day together and Purim together, and St. Patrick's Day and Palm Sunday and good Friday and Easter and Earth Day and May Day and Cinco de mayo....

You get the picture. I think I just want to be cruising soon and often!!!!!!!!!

Hope your Valentine's Day was filled with chocolate and confirmation numbers!

Hello All
Hope that everyone is doing well. Kathy and I are really looking forward to this cruise!!! Have been busy so sorry that we haven't been on the boards lately. Ever since I wa medically retired I have not had too much time to just goof around. Kathy is still working full time and I have taken over all of the household jobs. Hardest part is trying to get them to tell me what they want for dinner at night.

Love to cook and have been cooking for 45 years. Just running out of ideas.

Kathy and I are running out for breakfast this morning and then she is going to come back home and do some sewing for Katie(her first granddaughter) who is due to arrive June 10. I told Kathy that I am too young and handsome to be a grandfather. That got me the rollie eyes look!

Need to dip our toes in some warm tropical sand and sip our morning coffee on the verandah with the sun coming up and the sound of the waves slapping the ship. Mike

I sure have missed talking to ya'll! Time has really flown by. I still have my Xmas decorations sitting in the dining room. Boy, how disorganized I must sound.

Nick started taking piano lessons a couple weeks ago. Maybe he'll play for the Magic talent show!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say hello!!! I still lurk b/c we haven't made ressies or decided about the 9/28 cruise! We want to go, but I won a cruise, so we are waiting to see when it is (not on DCL ...). So, until we find out about free cruise, then we are kinda at stand still for 9/28 cruise!

Does anyone plan on being in WDW in May? Dh & I will be there 5/4 through 5/12! Let me know if anyone else will be there! we are splitting our stay at AKL & BWI!!! I can't wait!!! We haven't stayed at either of these before!

It is good to read about all of you! I am glad Kellyr stopped by to write! We have been wondering how she & Nick have been!
Shelly! WOW! To be in SLC must be great except traffic & such! I remember when summer olympics were near us in Atlanta! YIKES!!!

Hi all! We are back from HH and had a ball! The DIS meet was down to just 2 Dis'ers myself and Teri (TLuvs2Talk). We meet her and her husband on Friday night then went to dinner together! It was a VERY nice evening. I wish more of the Dis'ers could have made it. The resort was wonderful as always.

The green turtle farm is interesting and they have good tortuga gold rum. Not much of a drinker ourself, still have a bottle and a half left from our 1998 cruise on carnival.
