Papa~ Not sure about DCL excursions! You may go to Royal Caribbean or (gasp .. hehe ) Carnival website to view the excursions they offer! LOL They usually are all very similar!!!!! Although, I noticed DCL prices tad higher than Princess was ...

Pea~ Dh didn't mind doing the Surial with me!!! LOL!!!!!

Goofy~ did you spend more time at AKL, since you stayed nearby??? How was transporation to other parks from AKL???????? --- Trying to find a negative to AKL and having hard time ----

I only missed one page in a week's time! It seems hard to believe that two groups of overly talkative people could only do this much damage collectively.

My brother, Chris, flies back to San Diego tomorrow. He enjoyed his leave. It turned out to be good timing as his best friend was in an auto accident two months ago and recently came out of a coma. Chris was able to visit with him several times in Pensacola. He has a long road to recovery, but has made much progress already.

Patty, Nick's teacher is playing "pay back". EVERY night he brings home several pages of work. And to think I bought her a gift from St. Maarten's.

But, I want to tell you all about my EARLY birthday present that I'm giving myself.

I traded in my Delta Skymiles....at the reduced rate, and I'm going to visit my NEW DIS friend Lynette from the 4th to the 7th of November. I get to meet Maisey Piddles in person......yippee!

I think it is so weird.....I am flying into Charlotte, NC. I was born in NC and I haven't been back seen we moved away right after I was born.

Wish we could come and party down with you but, darn it, I have to work and that is a little bit of a drive for us. Sure would be nice though. Mike and I do have one bad habit and that is we like to eat. So gotta work. Have fun and party hearty. I am so jealous peagreenid but I am terrified to fly and have always been. Not because of the terroist thing. Just afraid to fly.

KellyR when is your cruise that you just booked? 9/28/02? Hope you can join us. The 9/22/01 group was a blast. What I have read of the 9/29/01 group sounds like they were a blast too.

Hey Everyone! Patty and Lynette, now I'm the one who's jealous. Just remember, Panama City has the world's most beautiful beaches. They're right in there with Castaway Cay. Maybe some day you will grace me with your presence.

Kathy, yes we booked 9/28/02. It will be my DS6 Nick and mom, Tish. Looking forward to meeting all of you 9/22'ers. Have hopes that more of our 9/29 group will make it, too.

Kelly, I am so excited you are going on the 9/28/02! We will get to meet again! As for Panama City Beach...I agree, the beaches there are the most beautiful I have ever seen. IMHO...nicer then Castaway Cay! And speaking of PCB we are coming down for a visit the week of Memorial Day week. Lets go to the BEACH!

GoofyDisney...just mention you are a return cruiser. They will confirm it and give you your CC member #.Jot it down in case you do not get the card in the mail. I never did find my CC card for this past cruise but had no problem getting the room credit and the sports bag.

Would any SC/Ga cruisers be interested in a DIS meet...maybe at the Disney Resort at Hilton Head?(I am thinking late Feb or early March).

You are too funny girl!!!! Actually DH was in Panama City on a deployment several years back. He thought it was pretty nice there. Actually my BIRTHDAY PRESENT to myself......is training. I'm gonna "TRY" to be a LS! Lynettes DB (dear boss) has Been so kind as to take me on.......(poor woman)

So, Poor Lynette, is going to have to put up with 3-4 days of my blondness...! (won't this light a fire under GBG?)

But, I would love to visit you in the future......!

KellyR~ it is like teaching ... not much money so you have to enjoy it! But, as you can tell, perks are GREAT!!!!!! Perks kind of depend on who you work for! I have had GREAT year this yr being able to travel alot, but not many companies look kindly to that much travel

Everyone is having such GREAT travel deals right now!!! It is a shame that we couldn't travel everywhere as cheap as everything is! Disney, cruises, hotels, airfare.....

And now I am trying to find a way in addition to going on the 9/28/02 cruise, to fit a four day in there somewhere. My SIL who lives in Florida is due to have her baby the beginning of Feb. So, I think we can fly down, take a peek at the new baby and then skip up for a little four day! hehehe (My ultimate goal in life is to be like Barb and Tony. Only 25 more to go!)

Saw the 9/28 cruise list! It looks great! Can't wait till we are on it!!!!!

Kelly, is your brother back safe and sound in SD? Did I tell you we paid $200 p/p for our tickets out of Traverse City for Christmas. That is unheard of!!!!

We have a friend who is stationed in SD. He married another friend of ours in June. He was due to do his ship duty term starting after Christmas, then it got moved to After Thanksgiving, then it got moved again. he leaves 10/30. The wife (our friend) is moving home, since she knows no one out there and has only been there since June. She doens't really want to pack up and come home, but has no support system there really. Plus, their families had made plane arrangements for Christmas, and then again before he left at Thanksgiving. So, now they are stuck with 7 airplane tickets they can't use. His supervisor wrote a nice letter, in hopes of helping my friend's family get their money back. We'll see. What a mess.
