Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

More storms rolled through last night so those of you who are East of us stay safe! Crazy weather this Spring. It is worse West of us as Cedar Rapids Iowa is completely under water.

We're having family over tomorrow to celebrate Father's Day and also my SIL's birthday. So tomorrow will be cleaning and cooking.

Just got off the phone with Delta. they really messed up my flights. Orginally I had direct flights from Nashville to Orlando. Well apparently Delta has discontinued direct flight from Nashville to Orlando. We would have had to make a connection through Cincinnati. Now mind you that was not the problem. It was the additional time it add made the flight a bad choice.

Original planned time from my door to WDW - 5 hours.

Flying Delta through Cincinnati would take about 9.5 hours

Well in 9.5 hours, I can be past the Florida state line in my car and approximately 2 hours away from WDW.

That said, I expected a fight from Delta when I asked for my flight credits back. I was in total shock when the lady at customer service was apologizing that she couldn't give me my money back as the flight was booked on credits. I told her that I just wanted a credit and wasn't expecting any money. They didn't even take any "penalties" for cancelling the flight.

Well now we will be flying on SWA - the only direct flight left from Nashville to Orlando.

Now the the big question - where should Mike and I go with $622 worth of Delta Credit? (I usually don't pay that much to fly to MCO, but I was using free credits and didn't care)

I will say that is the one thing I love about Chicago - you can get a direct flight to just about anywhere.

Good morning all,

Not much going on here today. Brought work home so I wouldn't have to go in. Scott is leaving Tuesday for Australia and he has to work a double tomorrow so I wanted to spend the day here.

Gave Roger instuctions on how to book Palo next Sunday, he better not forget!!!!!

It's dark - cloudy and thundering out. I hope it clears for some pool time and a nice long walk.

Good afternoon.

I think I am beginning to feel like my old self.

Today is going to be spent getting Matt ready for Scout Camp tomorrow. His friend who moved to W.Virginia just walked in the door. He is spending the day and night with us. I am taking them both to camp after lunch tomorrow. All we have left is to do laundry and stop at the store for a few last minute items.

Mike left this morning for Fort Lauderdale. The GFOA conference is there this year. We sometimes try to join him, but between Boy Scout Camp and Hawaii it wasn't going to happpen. Next year it is going to be in Seattle, so we are considering an Alaskan cruise either before or after next year. Mike will be home Wednesday night, so that means I have the house to myself for three days. AHHHH peace and quiet. (Said as Matt and Alex are playing Rock Band at full volume in the back ground)

Well there goes the laundry buzzer, gotta go turn over loads.

FYI- unwrapped on the food channel is at WDW. Its from 2003 but any disney fix is better than nothing.
