Disney Catering finally called back.
The Attic at boardwalk is a $2,500 food/beverage minimum.
Ariels at Boardwalk is a $1,000 food/beverage minimum.
Both only do buffet which runs around $80 per person. I say no go on this one.
Now the Illuminations Dessert Buffet looks like an option.
It will run around $30 per person depending on the menu. For those who don't want to pay for park admission, for $12.50 more, they will bring you into the International Gateway gate at the time of the buffet and take you to the party with no park admission required.
So what about Dinner at Cape May and an Illumination Desert Buffet. People can choose to do one or both.
Of course, this is based on availability at 90 days out. Apparently in Convention season, they want to allow the conventions first dibs on making these reservations.
I wonder why they haven't posted it on the site. So - what have the rest of you experienced on pirate night? How dressed up (pirate) do people get? I do remember some of the pictures.
I presume this is the correct thread for the DVC Member cruise on Sept. 21, 2008. I was surprised to see so many messages but not a lot of details/questions related to the cruise.
We have been booked since the original opportunity and are looking forward to meeting other disboards folks. We had a wonderful experince with meeting disboards folks for the Med Cruise #3.
I heard that they raised the parking fees again.
It's not that far off! DW and DD are going again in Dec. 2008.
Cheers,

Make all our dinner reservations last night, so exciting. Can't wait for O'hanas!![]()
Couldn't get into LeCellier at anytime, oh well, there's always next time.![]()
We are doing California Grill the night before we leave, the Cape May clam bake didn't appeal to us. We haven't decided about the Illuminations thing yet, depends upon time, price and what they have.
