Mary Kay or anyone

If we make the Cruise Saturday nanc and I were talking going from the Terminal and go to Vero for a few days after the Cruise. What we don't know is if you can rent a car right there at the terminal.
And believe this one or not Mary and Kay Nanc was wondering how many points it would take to do a B2B. The Three Day to Nassur. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: . Believe it or not she did.

I don't think the 2003 one had a theme.

In 2005 it was Happiest Celebration At Sea as part of the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland.

In 2006 it was Celebrating Magical Milestones including the 15th Anniversary of Disney Vacation Club.

I do think the 2007 cruise carried out the theme the best all around. It will be interesting to see what theme they come up with for 2008.

If you do a B2B cruise do you need to take your luggage off / on? How does a B2B work? :goodvibes

Was this the first time they did this incentive?

Also could you upgrade the free bee to a cat 4 for the point difference?

Thanks !

There are no car rental agencies at the port itself. There are car agencies that will pick you up at the port and shuttle you over to thier office. We've used Avis in the past. I'm not sure of which others have shuttles. I think Budget does but I don't think National does.

As for points needed for the 3 day cruise after to make a back to back. Don't have them handy but they will be on the DVC Member Site under the points charts.

For a back to back cruise if you book the same cabin for both cruises you don't have to unpack. I believe Kay said that she and Linda had to get off the ship the morning we got in (but they were the last ones off and left their stuff in the cabin) and then they got back on the ship before the terminal opened up to the new cruisers. I think she said they were off the ship about an hour. I'm sure Linda will correct me if I'm wrong or Kay will when she gets back.

This was the first time they ever offered this incentive. I thought I read that someone said you could upgrade but you had to call in on Saturday to do it. I'd call Member Services in the morning to confirm.

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Not too bad for a 3rd visit to Castaway Cay. We're going to head over to WDW after the cruise. Won't have too many days there next year and want to get a couple in.

Good morning everyone! Two days until call in day. Get those dialing fingers in shape!

Good morning Mary,Mark and all
Both phones are ready to go .
Thanks Mary about the car rental at the terminal. nanc and I were just wondering just in case we wanted to do that. At present we arn't sure if we are going back to the World for a few days after or going to Vero. That all hinges on us making the cruise.
Everybody have a Magical Day.

I just read on another board that the DVC Merry Member Mixers are going to be Thursday afternoons in December from 3-5 pm. We'll be at the December 6th one if anyone else will be in the area at that time. There usually is a fairly good size DIS group that ends up going. Hope to see some of you there.

I definitely plan to be there to catch up with some old friends! See ya then Mary!

Land line still busticated!!!! :headache: Verizon says a service person will be dispatched tomorrow. Please smile on me, Walt! I wanna go on this cruise so bad!!!:guilty: :sad1:

My DD and I will be there. We are new DVC members, and will be at SSR for our first DVC stay prior to getting on the Magic on Dec 8th!

I am hoping for a quick pick up on Saturday. I just found out that DS has to be somewhere at 9:00am (CST). If I am not answered by 8:45, I will have to go to Cell Phone alone. It is not far from the house, about 5 minutes. But 5 minutes could be the difference between a Cat 7 and a Cat 10. I will live with either, but I really want a veranda. Oh and early dining.

 I'll be there.

Yes, we got to leave our luggage on, just let our stateroom host know that we weren't leaving and told him not to worry about turning the room for new guests, since we were coming back. We got off the ship at about 9:30 a.m., went through customs, headed right back up the escalator and at about 9:55 a.m. they made us our new Key to the World cards and we were back on the ship by 10:05 a.m. or so. It was us and one other couple!

Well, just had to catch up on the thread before I left again.

Got home from the business trip to Anaheim, didn't go to the park, but went to Downtown Disney. Had a busy, but great time.

Wicked was awesome! Eden was incredible.

Now I need to go home tonight, unpack and then repack because we fly out tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. to Orlando and then get on the Magic for the week of Thanksgiving!

Kay called me from the port today. She talked to DVC today on her way to the port and we got the handicapped room on deck 6. I think she said 6154?, but I could be wrong, but it is on the AFT and it is the 61 number.

Okay, good luck to everyone calling in on Saturday! I'll check in when I return home.

Happy Turkey Day to everyone, even though it is early. I'll be thinking of everyone while I am be served dinner on the Magic! :cool1:

Thanks for the info Linda! So that is what I am going to do in September I have the B2B booked ! 3 trips to Castaway Cay ! Man I am much too excited too soon!

Getting ready for the dialing derby on Saturday

In fact we will have 4 phones going to get through, our land line, dh cell, my cell and BIL's family will be up so we will hijack his cell phone as well.

Just need to remember to set the alarm so that I don't oversleep.
