Saturday night sounds good. Nanc was wondering where everybody would like to go . Theres the Cape May Cafe at the Villas or Epcot Nanc and I are open. Is everybody going to have Passes? We are going to get an annual or a 10 day park hopper with non expiration.
Its sound like we going to have a great time. I think that will be after the Dis Board Meet right Mary? Oh by the way Joan follow Nanc and you won't get lost HA HA

Mark and I have AP's so we are open to anything in the Boardwalk/Beach Club/Epcot area. I think Dan is right and after the DIS meet would be a good time for an early dinner if everyone is up for that. Then we can either stay together for Illuminations or split up.

I have another question. I keep hearing that there are sales seminars. Are we required to attend the seminars or are they optional? :)

You will get an invite to the sales seminar but no you don't have to attend. They do have some good prizes. In 2006 Mark won us a one week trade into II...which got us a week in Hawaii!

DW and I have not decided whether we are going to stay onsite Saturday night nor not. We are planning on Staying two nights after we return so we can take in the Wine and Food Festival which starts on the 26th and hopefully a MNSSHP if we are lucky. Then we will come home on Saturday.

Anyone else staying at the parks after we get back from the cruise? pirate:

Mark and I are staying Thursday and Friday after the cruise at WDW. We start our drive home early Saturday morning.

Is the chat room up and running. If so I was unable to log in using my login and password. If it is up and going how do i change my password. I looked for an option but i couldn,t find one

Amanda & I are staying at BCV starting on the 18th. We haven't made ressies for after yet. I want to stay at either a Epcot resort and AKL. Waiting for the 7 month mark which is I think today? Is that right? Are we doing a meet at WDW for the cruise? Did I miss something? I would love to have dinner with our DIS friends also.

Yes, we are getting more snow in MI. I can't wait for winter to be over. I ordered some appliances for a family today and their delivery date was March 21. That means spring is only 3 weeks away!! On the calendar at least.

Annette

Sadly chat still isn't up and running yet. I believe Admin is looking at a new hosting software for the chat. I'll let you all know as soon as it is up and running.

Annette - I think if everyone is up for it we'll have another pre-cruise meet at the Beach Club Solarium like we did in 2006 and 2007.

We are going out after the Meet. Your welcome to join us .So far Nanc and me,Joan and Roger,Mary and Mark.
Mary thought maybe Epcot then we all could watch aluminations together.
I thinks its a great thing to do the night before we CRUISE

Looks like there is some interest on a Saturday night dinner. Anyone want to take on the job of organizing? We'd need someone to keep track of names, suggestions for dinner and then making the needed reservation. Anyone up for it?

Mary you are so good with the Dis Board I think you would do a wonderful job with dinner reservations. My own thoughts are places in Epcot like LE Cellier,Marrakesh,Royal and Crown ect or maybe Cape May at the Villas. Nanc and I have eaten at Marrakesh and its great food. Or we could eat Spoodles or some other place on the Boardwalk. I guess it all depends how much one wants to spend. We will go with the group call.

DW and I are considering staying close to the port on Saturday night before the cruise. Can anyone recommend a hotel nearby?

We thought about staying at BCV then but it would be too tempting to go into the parks. Our Ap's run out in June a day after our family vacation to the world so we really don't want to buy passes except for when we get back on that Friday to take in the Wine and Food Festival. :cool1:

Mary,

Since we have so many people on site perhaps we could look into a grand gathering dinner ? I definitely think Cape May could handle us.
(Other possibilities are Tuttio Italia or Hollywood and Vine)

Also Are we still trying to stay in the Epcot area?
I know Boma can be done with a crowd

Cheryl

Hi Everyone, I am so excite for all of you and your planning for the member cruise. I wish I was onboard with you all, it's gonna be a blast.

There is a dinner and dessert party Grand Gathering at Epcot for Illuminations. It's $60 per person and does not include park ticket. That might be cool.

Dan - thanks for the vote of confidence but I'd rather have someone else take on this task. Mark and I enjoy doing the website and the DIS meets, but we've found it best over the years to spread things like this around.

Cheryl - personally I'd rather stay in the Epcot area. I know we'd like to see Illuminations that night. Cape May might work but when we've done that with a large group in years past they sat us at 4 - 5 tables of 4 or 6.

Annette - never thought of Grand Gathering. How many rooms to you need to qualify for that?

Anyone else have any suggestions? Anyone want to take this on?

Hi Theresa! Nice to see you! Wish you guys were sailing with us again this year.

Mark and I are staying at the Hampton Inn the night before our April cruise. It has beach access and includes a full breakfast. We stayed there before our May '06 cruise and enjoyed it. We've also stayed at the Raddison and they have a shuttle over to the port available.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing good! Its been a little bit of a crazy weekend and Monday for me. On Friday evening a delivery truck delivering to the house next door hit the back end of my car. No injuries, I was the only one in the car. About $4000 worth the damage, so the car went into the shop today to be repaired. I woke up Sunday morning with this awful pain in my lower back on the right side, I have no clue what it is and just have had no time to get the the dr. to get it checked out. I'm hoping that it goes away, if not I will get an appointment for Friday afternoon or Monday.

I had every intention of changing our pre cruise reservations to BCV and forgot to do it, so hopefully tomorrow there is something available. We will see. As far as dinner goes on saturday night, count Tim and I in, if no one else is going with kids, we can leave them with grandpa and great grandma...if there are kids then we can bring them along. Just let us know. We will be staying at AKV post cruise until Sunday.

One other thing I forgot to post last week, Krystina(DD 11) got her stanford acheivement test results back and she scored above grade average in everything, and blew me away in science...shes a 12.3 grade level(shes in 5th grade)...I was shocked! She likes science, but its not her love, art is! Haylee (DD9) also scored above grade average mostly 7-8 grade(shes in 3rd grade)....They both did so great on the tests and report cards that they got 2 new CD's...of course they were Jonas Brothers, and Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana! And of course we had to listen to them in the car for the last few days...I have to admit, they werent as bad as I thought they'd be...At least its not rap!

Well the snow has hit in the Chicago area, we have about 2" so far and more is on its way! Keep it west and north of us! I'm sick of snow, I cant remember a winter this bad in my life! Stay safe everone!

Tinkerbelle,
I've lost track of who's going. Are you bringing your DDs on the cruise? My DD will be turning 10 the day we board !
Wendy

Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Tina - so sorry to hear about your accident. Please call the doctor if your back is still bothering you. Often injuries don't show themselves until the next day.

Lots of snow here as well. Mark has been up since about 3:30 and was out the door a little after 4 to go plow. I'm sick of snow...where is Spring? Sorry to anyone East of here but I have to send it your way to get it out of here. Hopefully you won't get much of it.
