We are getting icky weather too, of course we live about an hour west of Annette and Amanda. It sounds like there is some melting going on outside though.

Today is a day of unpacking, laundry and general put stuff away from the trip, as well as relax.

We've gotten our first snowfall of the year here near Philadelphia. It's just a little more than a dusting, but it's sleeting now. Good day to stay in and get the house decorated!

I am in big trouble today. My DD is using my e-bay account to buy gifts. That is so her DH won't know she is doing it. It's like - "Mom - I'll write you a check for what I buy"..............

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday! Short week for Mark and I as we leave for WDW on Wednesday (as long as we don't get halted by a winter storm). Looking forward to getting back to WDW as we didn't get to spend much time there in October. Still lots to do at home before we go - we're going to need this by the time it comes.

good morning all - up early this morning - actually up all night. could not sleep at all. am really excited about my DD and youngest g/baby going on the cruise and to WDW this weekend and next week. There are a lot of surprises in for her.

The dog got me up 3 times during the night to go out. what is up with her, I don't know.

Good morning all

Well winter has arrived here in the state of Maine this morning. As i look out the window the snow is coming down quit steady. The weather man say's we will get 10 to 15 inches before the day is over.
Yesterday I was finishing raking up the rest of my leaves and today I will be blowing snow.Well as they say in Maine if you don't like the weather wait a minute.
Boy would I like to be on Castaway Cay this morning.
Everybody have a great day. Nanc and I are going to start decorating the inside today. Got the outside lights done last week.

That would be Jamie. Amazing, isn't it? A 15 year old gets something accomplished. But then she was having a bunch of her friends over from high school last Friday night and wanted the tree up, so Robert put it up, I brought up the 8 Rubbermaid containers of Disney Beanies and told her to go at it. She really can do something around the house if she puts her mind to it!

Now, if I could just get her to do a little housework........................and get off that

Yep, we're getting up close and personal with winter here also. Lots of wind and about 4 inches of snow this morning. The road crews are keeping up with it, though. It's the kind of thing that makes you wish you were going to WDW and a cruise on the Magic. (not to mention any names WENDY! ) We'll just have to suffer here and read other peoples trip reports.

You know I'm just jealous! I hope everyone enjoys their winter vacations and shares their stories.

Thanks Mary!!! I had a great relaxing b-day!!! Of course my girls thought it was quite funny that they put a sign up in the yard saying I was 30 yesterday, and then told the cashier at the store I was getting old! That I turned 30 yesterday, the cashier laughed and said then you must think I'm ancient! They figured out their mistake and said oops, sorry we just wanted everyone to know its Mommies birthday and she's 30 now! I was embarrassed!!! We went home after that, and didnt go out to anymore stores!

My mom and Tim took me and the kids out to Ted's Montana Grill last night, it was our 1st time there, and the food and service was exceptional! I have now had 3 different types of cakes, 1 last Sunday(strawberry cream cheese)at the surprise party they had for me, 1 yesterday(Black Forest), and then this morning my co-worker brought in a strawberry whip cream cake!!! I'm like you all want me to not fit into my jeans anymore!!! So now I have over a half of each left, I guess the kids will be finishing them!!!

We're also booked and very excited, but please tell me I made the right choice....?

We are new DVC members and recieved some incentive points that needed to be used by Nov 2008. So even with a trip to HHI in June '08 we were struggling to use 2007/ 2008. I had previously booked the Thanksgiving '08 cruise with 2 stops at CC. But because of the points issue we booked the Members Cruise in Sept and cancelled the T-day cruise.

Please tell me that the SS Member Cruise will live up to all the hype of an absolutely fabulous cruise experience? As a friend at work says- any Disney cruise is better than no cruise at all....

I can tell you that we've been on 4 previous DVC Member Cruises and loved them all. Click the logo in my signature and that will take you to this years web page for the group. From there you can look at some of the past cruises we've done (we are still working on our write-up for the '07 cruise). That should give you a good feel for what makes the cruise special.

Also on that page is how to send me info in you want to be included in the group photo gallery. Also you can send your info to Kay for the listing on post #1.
