Mary - Thanks for the reply about getting to port. I amone of those that likes to get on the ship as early as I can so I can get a feel for the layout. We've never cruised the same ship twice - at least not yet. If we have to try to get Palo on board, I will be trying to get there as early as I can - maybe even giving up our breakfast ressie at WDW. If we get Palo at the 75 day mark, then I might not be as frantic. Thanks again! You do such a good job on here taking care of all of us!

Ok just had to share this as I'm pretty proud of it. The CFO at my office is a good friend and having her first grandchild this summer. So a group of us are getting together for dinner next week and throwing her a grandma shower. Giving her baby stuff just for her house. I decided to try my hand at a diaper cake and I think it came out pretty good.

The picture isn't the best quality and I apologize for the mess on the table (still in scrapbook mode and have stuff all over the table).

For the record, the Adventurer's Club is one of my favorite places at WDW.
If it is truly gone forever, I consider it a great loss. I think the adult/no kids guest is rapidly losing ground at WDW. I don't need another place to shop or eat there.

Thanks, yep made it myself. I had seen others and wanted to give it a try. If you google diaper cakes you'll see there are lots of instructions out there. It really wasn't that hard at all and I had fun with it. There are goodies hidden inside including a small fleece blanket, 5 onsies, 2 pair of baby socks and a baby bottle.

I have a question for everyone thats been on other members cruises. Who's your favorite castmember that works for dvc? Mine is Travis. He works at the desk on deck 4( i think thats where it is). He sets up that appointments for members to add on points. He is very friendly and alot of fun.

My favorite sadly is no longer with DVC - I miss Travis too haven't seen him in years! - Last year there was an excellent DVC cast member that helped me a few times with mom and getting her to the Island.

Just got a second.

Got back from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg last night. Had pretty good time. At work have 5 days of work to do and only working 2 days to do it. (Monday at Dollywood, Having Dental surgery on Thursday, Holiday on Friday). Woo Hoo

We watched a Food Network show on Amusement Parks and food. Dollywood was on it. There was this HUGE piece of apple pie. It was surreal. We want to visit Dollywood somtime. It looks neat.

One of these years, we plan on an "amusement park roadtrip". We love rollercoasters. So far, here's our amusement park roadtrip list (any suggestions would be appreciated):

Cedar Point - Sandusky, OH
Dollywood - Pigeon Forge, TN
Busch Garden - Williamsburg, VA
Kennywood - West Mifflin, PA
Astroland (Coney Island) - Brooklyn, NY

As you can tell, this is sort of an "East Coast" roadtrip. Are there any west coast parks besides Disneyland/California Adventure we should try?

We have been busy the past few days and haven't had a chance to jump on. We have been getting ready for our annual two weeks at York Beach which we have been doing for the past 30 plus years.
When we get back we will be thinking Cruise.
