I baked a chocolate kalua cake last night for Bunco, boy did it smell good. I havn't cute into it yet. I hope I can limit myself to a very small piece. The girl hosting Bunco is having barbeque-. Not good for my diet or for a Friday in lent. Soooooooo if I can't eat meat- I guess I will have to stick to chocolate??? Do you think that will work?

Well Mary we are in the same boat we had another 3inches last night and they are predicting another 8inches over the weekend.

Enjoy the snow, we just got another 3" here in Central Indiana again overnight. We have had some form of precipitation every day for the last 2 weeks or so. This has to be the most snow we have seen in years. They are predicting on Monday for us to be in the 50's again and below freezing each night even though it was warm. It is no wonder everyone is sick around here.

Hopefully we are on the home stretch for getting some warmer weather soon.

Wow Bunco, that is something I have not heard anyone mention in a lonnngggg time. The cake sounds great, I would have the same problem, I would want to sit and eat half of it.

I know what you mean, I mean why would someone just meaninglessly post just to bump the number up. Oops I guess that is what I am doing.

I'm loving the activity over the pirate. This is what we used to have on some of our bigger threads. We only celebrated major milestones (the 1000 ones) but we celebrated both the actual post and the reply (long story going back to before the boards showed post numbers). It really is kind of fun.

DW used to do those parties when she was active in the Women of the Moose. I used to remember her coming home from those and me asking now what exactly do you do at a Bunco Party. It was pretty much the same quiz I get from her on my Masonic Meetings now.

We started our group after we were all laid off at our last job. Our lovely emplyer decided to move all our jobs to Nashville. So we do this to keep in touch. Every one is so busy it's nice to see every one. We are all boring accountants from 25-60something, 12 of us. But we do manage to have fun. Sometimes more than others- depending on the drink of the night.

When it's at my house it's my favorite- the sail away. I make a pitcher of Pina Colada's and a pitcher of strawberry daq...

actually very nice - sunny and a little breeze. I have my house open after cleaning this morning. drizzle rain yesterday but it wasn't bad
