09/21/08 SSMC08 S.S. Member Cruise 2008 - Part 3!

I understand your reasons completely! We loved the guests - amazing people we wouldn't have met elsewhere - and 2 days at CC. In thinking about this longer cruise we cited both of those member cruise features as reasons not to do it. I have always wanted to go to the Virgin Islands, and a 7 day is appealing, but we are lamenting losing the 2 days at CC, the guests, and the special gifts. It is a trade-off, and since we haven't done the itinerary, that won out. The bonus is all the folks from the member cruise who are going, so we don't feel like we're missing out completely. I do understand - selfishly, I wish you were going with us! Just knwo you are wanted and your company is appreciated and enjoyed!

I think you have stated my our sentiments very well too. I just never quite got it into those words. But then I'm retired - not required to think very hard!

Thank you both! Know that if we win the lottery the first cruise we would book is the BOB cruise to be with all of you. Of course that means I better start playing the lottery.

Ditto. If I won the lottery I'd be coming on these cruises too. For now the plan is to bank my 2009 points and then some cruising in 2010.

Hi All!!

I have been very busy since our return, Tanya's Dad passed away early Oct. so we traveled to Michigan and helped go through all of that. Now just working and remembering all the fun we had on the cruise!

This is the first chance I've had to visit the board. Dan & I went to lunch in Freeport & then went to LL Bean then to Friendly's. Tonight the little grandkids had us over for cake. So thanks again.
