One week from today, at this very moment in time, I will be relaxing with my honey and not missing the kids. Most of Louisville and surrounding area is without power today. Ike decided to take a tour of KY and brought 81 MPH winds. I am glad he is gone. Ky's first Hurricane except no rain or water just winds. I am packed and ready to go. I have my passport in my purse in case I have to leave the country quickly. We fly out on Friday and it can not come too soon. I have not gotten a priate or ES. I am really bad at this game. Oh well with so many leaving early I may sneak in for one or both before we leave.

Actually, I wouldn't mind going to Mass. I miss the beauty of tradition. Mack has to get his keister on the coaster, so I think we will skip. The ruler on the hands brings back nightmares - living memories - of Sister Rita Xavier and Chemistry class - oooooooo, (she shudders) will I ever forget those days?

Hi everyone - I just got a call from Dan. He and Nancy are safe and sound at WDW and enjoy a stroll around the Boardwalk! I told him how jealous I was. I also told him he's Elizabeth Swan.

He says to say Hi to everyone and he told the girl at the store today at the cruise people are coming the end of the week!

Wish I was there with them now!

I am almost done packing. I thought it would take me a lot longer. I got these packing containers from Travel Smith and they are great, especially the one for all my shirts! It come with a form to fold them with and then you stack them up and close the four sides over them and you are done! Voila!

At least I won't be up until all hours and then have to get up at 4. I need to be at the airport for 5 (yes, in the morning); luckily, it is nearby. Boardwalk, here I come! Tomorrow at this time I will be getting ready to eat in one of my favorite restaurants, the Flying Fish Cafe. I tend to plan all my trips around where I eat. Thus, FFC will be followed by the Brown Derby, Teppan Edo and Le Cellier. Yum! Yum!

Hi Bruce! We head down on Thursday. We'll go as far as Macon on Thursday and the rest of the way on Friday! Can't wait until we are on Disney property.

The basement is fine now and we were much luckier than others around here. Lots of wet stuff out by the curbs.

Disney here we come!
