DW just looked a little harder in those secret spots and did find the shore excursion booklet. It has a letter dated for the Sept 21, 2008 cruise.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday!

Jack - glad you found your excursion booklet. I was pretty sure we had gotten one because I remember everyone talking about it listing Nassau (which of course we aren't going to).

Hope everyone has a great day. I'm hoping to do the updates on the web page tomorrow. Work has been a little crazy but should be able to get to it this weekend. I also need to finish up our little FE gifts.

Here is West Palm Beach we did OK. There were a few tornandos and the lakes are over filled but it is OK here. To the North of us in Port Saint Lucie they have it a lot worse. My friends parents were trapped in their house due to the fact that the road in front of it was now a river. Mostly it was just really bad street flooding. Most everyone there is OK though. They just can't get to work or school.

Everyone stay safe. In Louisville we have several tornados and flooding every year and the best thing is to be careful and do not take chances. You never know what may be lurking in that water over the roads.

Had my first H & R Block class tonight. Thought I would do taxes in the spring fr some extra cash. Since both kids are grown I have a lot of spare time.

Good luck with the tax course. It is a great way to make extra money in the spring. I started out in public accounting and loved it until the kids came along.

I am going to start packing this weekend. I am trying to keep the bags to a minimum because of the extra fees. It is going to be an engineering feat if I can get everything in two bags and keep them under 50lbs. DH may just have to deal with a shirt and short for the week.

Happy Friday all! Glad to see everyone has weathered Fay pretty good so far! Hope everyone in the path stays safe!

I can't believe we are under a month til we cruise...It seemed like it was never going to get here, now its just flying by! I am going to start packing this weekend, we just bought new luggage, so I need to see what and how much they will hold and still be under 50 lbs!

Well, its pretty much a busy Friday here at work. We had a few emergencies this morning so our day is a little longer. Hope everyone has a great Friday, and an even better weekend!!!

Hi everyone. I lost power =(. I am back up now. Yay!

We lost power on Wednesday night, we had no storms, it wasnt that hot out...We were watching TV, and boom the power is gone. I'm not too sure what happened, but it was out for about 3-4 hours. It's never fun to loose power! Stay safe! Glad to hear your back up with power!

My power was out since yesterday around 2pm. Todd has sleep apnea and because we have no generator, could not use his machine and got no sleep.
The humidity was killing me too so I took a sleep tablet so I could sleep.

I totally agree with you about both of these things.... I mean Fay and the guests, not the part about being crazy.... LOL... Anyway yes Fay does need to give it up and just go away for good.

As far as the guests for this cruise what is the big secret. Why are they not saying who will we see. Are they having trouble booking guests or something. It makes no sense. Tell us already....

Packing already?!?!?!? I don't think I can pack this early. I do have to be careful with what I take though since we're flying. I am really excited. I have already planned what one set of classes will do while I am gone; now I just have to plan for the 8th grade English classes. I might hit poetry for both grade levels first so I can leave poetry portfolios for them to make while I am gone. That would be pretty easy!

Mack and I have to make our little "from" tags for our FE gifts. How early do you think we can ship them down to the resort?

I have been busy all week. Just started painting Matts bathroom. Looks like it will take two coats to cover the prior color. the Guy at Lowes assured me that this stuff would only take one coat. The old color is a light lavender color. Oh well, guess we will be doing more painting.

They are automatically assuming you're using a primer, there really is no such thing as a one coat cover in one color over another.

I dread painting my daughter's "suite" (two small rooms with French doors in between) because one side is honeydew melon and the other is hot bubblegum pink - I know it will take a lot to cover that side! On one wall in that room is a tropical mural I painted for her complete with a sand beach that is texturized. What was I thinking, because it wasn't resell.
