Jet Skiing IS Awesome!!!

Terrie, you don't have to get off if you don't want to. None of us did when he stopped. We did get off on the other side of castaway cay on the beach. That was cool to get a different perspective of the island! but you still didn't have to get off the ski.

Don't worry about your phobias, they won't come into play!!

Are they actual jet ski's or do they also have ski do's (seated ones) or both?

They are 2 person Yamaha Waverunners. They are fast and fun! or slow and fun if that's your speed Terrie. You can go by yourself or ride with someone.

Perfect!! I AM going to learn the separation thing with the kids so they can have fun the time there doing what kids love to do with others their age (AND much needed adult time); but they are VERY adventurous and I want to continue to encourage that. I would love to take them one day on an eco tour (one with each of us). They are too young for parasailing unless they allow them to go tandem with one of us, but they would do that too. I like the 3 day at castaway idea, can get the kids all their adventures with us, then can go off and do them again with people our age and they can go off and enjoy more castaway kid specials with other kids their age.

This b2b idea is getting more and more awesome!

haha tell me about it, I am supposed to be getting up and gone to the mall with Stacey for some bday present shopping (and of course the free VS coupon thing that she seems to get monthly, and of course a stop by browsing at coach, a cleaning/browsing at helzberg diamonds) ... you know .. all the stuff we guys just LOVE to do

Calypso- thank you for the info on posting pictures- I will give it a try when I get time. I still have not downloaded pictures from my Sept trip at BCV into facebook yet.

We have two labs- both 6 ys. - a black and a chocolate. They have titles in AKC and UKC and in rally as well. When the grandkids came ( we have a 3 y/o and 6 mo old- life became busier. We still take classes for fun which they enjoy more. They are on the high energy side and both extremely quick. They are really great with the grandkids. Since I am on my ITouch, It doesn't show your signature w/ your dog Disney. What type of dog is he or she?

I grew up for a time in FL going to the beaches a lot, have an 'angel' story (saved by an angel or some really awesome person that dissapeared) when I was young and was getting pulled out (riptide) REALLY far to where there were no more swimmers and I was past any netting. I remember when I returned to the beach finally (after swimming in place a very long time) I had to walk FOREVER to get back to my parents (yeah they had no clue woohoo lol). Ever since then for some reason my fear of sea creatures has scared the bejesus out of me. Needless to say YOU AND I are hanging a lot those days I think!

I would have to go by myself that way if the waverunner tips over I won't be arrested for killing someone becasue I'll have no one to blame but me No going slow...it's all about the speed! Need to be able to outrun the sharks Oh, please tell me they don't have a "governor" on the waverunners like on the segways

You are very welcome Friendofpluto Disney (male) is a Golden Retriever. He is a finished AKC Champion and has a CD and JH and Show Dog Hall of Fame title from GRCA (parent club). I have bred and shown Champion Goldens in conformation under the Calypso prefix for the last 10 years. Never competed in Rally but it looks like fun. Only showed in UKC once. The UKC shows conflicted with most of the AKC shows. I have several friends that show and breed Labs and they are a wonderful breed! When you get around to posting pictures please share pictures of the Labs. On the DVC cruise thread from last year we all shared pics of our pets too

Go to the DCL website, click on cruises & destinations, click on Disney's Castaway Cay, scroll down then click on search all port adventures, go to page 2 and click on watercraft ski adventure
