The President of DCL was on the last Member Cruise. Would he count as a big-wig?

Ginny

He was so NOT what I would expect the president of a cruise line to look like! He just looked like an average guy...dressed very casual. I guess I imagined that since he was the president of a cruiseline he would dress more military-ish.

Hey! Get to work!

You're not the boss of me!! (says the wife in a child-like manner) :rotfl:

Besides, I don't have anything to do. Another long boring day! UGH!

HOPEFULLY I'll be getting another closing package to do today. That will keep me busy for about an hour. Or if I do it really slow maybe I can stretch it out for two hours. But it's just not in my nature to work slow!

I suggested that anyone that books Palo for dinner needs to check their dining rotation as soon as they check in at the port. You do not want to be eating at Palo during your first night in Animators Palate. If you happen to have Palo booked during your first night in AP, you might want to see if you can change your Palo reservation OR your dining rotation. (This is all assuming they have a big show in AP like they do on the Wonder/Magic, where everything turns from black and white to full color)

AHhh ok I saw this! I did notate it beleive it or not :) Was thinking you magically had an actual dining schedule and was amazed and in awww.

I was waiting for one of the Adventures by Disney presentations to start and I saw him standing there.... he looked so familiar... and I finally went up and asked if he was Karl Holz. He said yes and we chatted for four or five minutes.

Is there anywhere on the website that you can verify which seating for dinner and show time you have? I requested late seating and 7 show time but she never verified those when I got my stateroom number.

I am TERRIFIED of heights, but the parasailing looked so neat. So I tried it. I was SCARED! But the second I lifted off the boat, it was THE MOST PEACEFUL feeling in the world! That was in December 2008. I parasailed again last month on the 2010 Member Cruise. Got some EXCELLENT pictures of the ship the second time!!!! :thumbsup2

Everyone says that is really one of the best things they ever did. I would love to get past the fear so I could enjoy doing it myself, but I'm glad that Cal can do it.

I haven't checked but I don't think so. You can always call DVC or DCL and ask them. I know, not quite as convenient as just getting online. :upsidedow
